The last few days with Roman helped with me cope with the loss of my brother in so many ways, especially after learning he lost his brother in a similar way.
Leah and Melissa went home the day after the nightclub incident, making me promise them I would call them and tell them how everything is going.
Roman did some mind thing, he says that he compelled them. It's some thing that puts a person into a trance, and can make them do whatever he wants to them to do. Anyway, he compelled them so they would forget what happened at the club. I didn't agree with it at first, but in the end decided it was for the best.
So here I am now, completely and unconditionally in love with some guy I just met and claims to be some original vampire. Crazy right? Yep.
"Roman, I don't want to leave." I whine, laying on his bare chest, circling my finger on the crook of his neck.
He pounces up so now he pins me under his godly body, gripping my wrists in his one hand. His lips hover tantalizingly over mine, teasing with every light brush.
"I know, Love. But you can't very well disappear with some guy you just met, people ask questions." He states, his minty breath fanning my face.
I pout my bottom lip, and begin to protest until I'm abruptly cut off by those glorious full pink lips of his. I groan as they move in sync with mine. I buck my hips against his, urging him for more. And like always, I am denied.
He rolls off of me and onto his back. "You will be the death of me. I told you the reason why, and when that will take place." He pants heavily, pulling me to him.
"Yeah, yeah. You don't want to hurt me by accident, and you would like to wait for our wedding night. Well let me tell you something, first off you won't hurt me. I just know you won't, I trust you. And secondly, this is 2015! Times have changed, and we aren't going to be having a wedding anytime soon. So just give in!" I exclaim, exhausted by the same argument we have had the last three days.
Roman grins, kissing me quickly before jumping up. "Come on, I have to get you home. Also, I have a surprise to tell you. But, I refuse to tell you unless you act like the good little girl you are and listen to what I tell you to do." He sings out happily as he begins to dress.
I sigh in defeat, getting up and trudging over to my already packed things. I grab the spaghetti strapped, white lace Sun dress and throw it on. I decide to leave my wavey hair down, and let it cascade down my back.
"Since I'm ready, I would like to know what that surprise is." I say impatiently, putting my hands on my hips waiting for an answer.
Roman walks over to me, wrapping his well built arms around my dainty waist, "I will never get over how perfect you are." He whispers seductively into my ear.
I slap his arm playfully, giggling from the hot air and vibration from his voice tickling my earlobe, "I'm serious Roman! I want to know!"
He sighs and pulls away from me, "I bought a house not too far from you, it's seriously five doors down." He tells me, eyeing me seriously for a bad reaction, "You are seriously an impatient little thing."
My jaw drops as I stare at him waiting to tell me it is some type of joke. When he says nothing I let out a squeal, jumping onto him like a koala. He gives out a deep throaty laugh, twirling me around.
"Okay babe, let's get going. You told your parents you'd be home two hours ago."

This man seriously has too much money or something. Today he drives us back to my place in a brand new Cadillac. Not that I'm complaining or anything, it's an extremely comfortable car to ride in.
I stare out the window, watching the city pass until we reach the outer limits and reach forest. Roman softy nudges my shoulder to get my attention,
"Hey, if you want to listen to music you can plug in your phone."
"Okay." I say cheerful.
I dig in my purse and find my phone and search for a good song. My attention lands on one specific song, Greg Laswell's Comes and Goes. I plug it in before pressing play, looking over at Roman and give him a shy smile.
"This one's for the lonely, the one's that seek and find
Only to be let down time after time
This one's for the torn down, the experts at the fall
Come on friends get up now you're not alone at all." The song begins, causing me to smile and sing along."Oh oh oh, oh oh oh
Oh, oh oh oh, oh oh ohAnd this part was for her
And this part was for her
This part was for her
Does she remember? It comes and goes in waves
This one's for the faithless, the ones that are surprised
They're only where they are now regardless of their fight
This one's for believing if only for it's sake
Come on friends get up now love is to be made." I sing along with the rest of the song, completely unaware of a pair of intrigued eyes staring at me.Once the song finishes I glance over at Roman and blush profusely from the smile he has etched all over his face.
"What?" I ask shyly as I choose another song, landing on Fashionably Late by Falling In Reverse.
He shakes his head then shrugs his shoulders, "You have an impeccable voice that's all." He states matter of factly.
I roll my eyes and smile, "Thank you."
He nods as he pulls in front of my house which fills me with dread. The corner of my lips twitching downwards as I begin to fret about being away from him.
Roman places a finger beneath my chin, turning my face toward his. He plants gentle kisses repetitively on my lips before speaking, "I'll be gone one two days, I have to get my affairs in order. But as soon as I come back you are all mine, as I am yours. I promise time will fly."
I nod my head reluctantly and bite my lower lip to keep it from trembling.
"I love you."
"I love you too, now help me get my bags inside." I joke half heartedly.
"Anything you want boss lady." Roman laughs, grabbing my stuff from the backseat.
I get out of the car, stretching my limbs before walking over to Roman; wrapping my arms tightly around his waist. "These two days will be the longest yet." I groan nuzzling my face into his back.
"I know. But as soon as everything is over and done with I have all the time in the world to spend with you."
I nod my head, letting go of his waist and making my way up to my house.
"October, I have one more thing to tell you." Roman says nervously.
I raise an eyebrow, my interest piqued. "Yes?"
"I'm actually a Prince. The Prince of my kind, Vampires."
Wait, what?
