Sorry for the late update!

Before I could speak another word, or even get a sound to escape my mouth he was down the steps and into his car.

I stood there like a frozen ice sculptor. Out of all the insane things I was told these last few days, this must be the most unbelievable one he's admitted too. Is this guy off his rocker or something? My mind baffled, turning and twisting at the latest tidbit of information.

After moments of standing on my front porch I make my way inside with all my luggage. Not seeing my parents car in the driveway I let a sigh of relief out, wanting to be alone and able to process what the fuck I just got myself into tonight.

Dragging my things up the stairs with all the effort I could muster up, I finally reach my room. Tossing my things inside.

I groan in exhaustion, my head beginning to ache trying to make sense of it all. I throw myself on to my cozy queen sized bed, snuggling into its warmth and comfort.

"This is all messed up. This is absolutely fucked. I mean is he like some rich mental patient that's escaped the ward." I mumble in frustration.

As I am laying in my bed, wallowing in my self pity, I hear my phone going off.

Groaning and getting up, I make my way to my purse and retrieve my phone.

5 missed calls from Leah, 2 missed calls from Melissa, and 3 from my parents. And an abnormal amount of texts.

I flip back down on my bed beginning to read text messages and reply to them, not wanting to talk to anyone on the phone right now.

Text from Leah: Would you answer one of my calls! Anyhow, big party going on at the abandoned barn. We are all going. See ya soon!

Knowing how pointless it is in arguing with her I toss my phone on my bed. I lay there briefly before deciding on a shower.

Once all showered and hair blow dried, I make my way to my closet.

Shuffling through the hoards of clothing, I decide on a pair of acid wash high waisted shorts, and a black and white stripped crop top. I change quickly before texting Leah back.

Text: Almost ready, give me 10 minutes.

After about 10 minutes I have my makeup applied simply, going for a more natural look, and my white high-top Converse on. I grab my black leather jacket, and purse then quickly head down the stairs.

Text from Leah: U ready yet? -_- Melissa and I r on our way to get u xx
Text: Yeah, waiting on the porch for you guys. xo

Before I could reach the front door I hear a deep voice call out to me,

"Where are you going?" He asks, grabbing my attention.

I turn on my heel and advert my attention to my father, who is leaning on the doorway that leads into the living room. I sigh,

"Just going out with Leah and Melissa."

He raises an eyebrow as if he's waiting for me to elaborate. After a few passing moments of me not saying anything, he decides to speak,

"You know your mother and I both know you weren't at Leah's. So, where were you? Were you with that Roman boy? You just met the gu-"

I cut him off before he can accuse me of anything, "Yes I did go to Roman's. Yes, Leah and Melissa did come over too for a night. No nothing happened between Roman and I, he was an absolute perfect gentleman. He just wanted me to get some of the stress off my mind. Sorry for lying where I was going, but I shouldn't feel the need to lie because you two wouldn't let me go. I'm 20 years old." I exasperate, rolling my eyes.

His corners of his mouth twitch downwards, "We just want you to be safe. We don't mean to make it seem like we are being ridiculously strict and don't want you to not have fun and live your life. Can you just be honest where you are going next time please?"

I bite my bottom lip, nodding my head and walking towards my dad. I wrap my arms around his neck and hug him tightly,

"I promise I will stay safe, daddy. I'm sorry for not telling you the truth. Tomorrow let's have a family night."

He nods his head as he loosens his grip, "All right, that sounds good. Have fun tonight, but don't stay out too late, and you know the rest."

I smile, giving him one last hug before dashing outside to a waiting Leah and Melissa. I jump into the backseat, and buckle my seatbelt.

"Hey guys." I chime.

"Hey! How have you been?!" Leah squeals, turning in her seat to look at me.

"Pretty good. Roman left today to do some stuff and won't be back for a couple days." I quickly explain, waving off my disappointment.

She gives me a knowing smile, "Well, let's make the best of tonight and have some quality girl time!"

"Yeah girl, we will have an amazing night. Roman will be back before you know it." Melissa chirps from the drivers seat.

"Guys I'm not a love struck idiot. I can survive a couple days without him." I argue and roll my eyes at them.
