If the entrance of the Apartment building made me feel slightly out of place, walking into Roman's penthouse apartment made me feel like I showed up at high school with no pants. I didn't want to touch anything in fear of it breaking, how would I pay to replace even a spec of dust in here? I slowly took in all my surroundings as I followed behind Roman.
His place was done in all extravagant black and stainless steel modern look. I've only ever witnessed places like this on some celebrity show, or in some magazine (more than likely owned by some hotshot celebrity). The whole place extremely spacious, and wide open. But I couldn't help shake the very cold feeling it emitted even though it was a gorgeous home, kind of lik Roman.
Without noticing, Roman stops abruptly in front of me, causing me to crash into his solid, and by the feel of my face smashing into his back, well defined backside. I fall to the ground with a loud 'OOUF!' Groaning with pain from both sudden impacts.
"You zone out a lot." Roman jokes as he leans over, claps my forearms, and pulls me back to my feet.
I roll my, rubbing my now very sore bottom. "I was admiring your place actually, jerk. How do you even afford this, aren't you a student?" I ask him confused, running my fingers along the back of the smooth black leather couch.
My eyes flick up to meet his hard, piercing ones, "I was born into a well off family, does that answer your question?" He replies emotionless, raising an eyebrow.
I gulp, terrified that I severely offended him, "I-i-i didn-" I start to stutter out, but am quickly cut off by Roman pulling me into a warm side hug.
"Don't worry about it, Love. I understand where the question came from." He assures me, then let's me go against my reluctance.
I give him a shy smile and nod my head. In a daring movie I reach out for his and and intertwined my fingers with his, "Thank you for everything today, you have no idea how much it means." My voice comes out barely above a whisper, but each word I speak comes out as sincerely as I meant it too.
He returns my smile, and gives a simple nod. He tugs my hand, leading me down the hallway and to a shut door. He places my bag on the floor and opens the door. Once the door is open it reveals a very large bedroom, everything in a eggshell white. Roman picks my bag back up and leads me into the room. He sets my bag onto the plush king sized bed, and turns towards me,
"I'm going to leave you to get ready, and I am going to do the same. Just shout if you need anything." He says kindly, reaching up and stroking my cheek.
"Thanks Roman." My cheeks burning with each stroke of his thumb.
He drops his hand, also untangling our intertwined ones and makes his way out of the room. I look around awkwardly, not sure on what to do first. I let out a deep sigh, deciding to choose my outfit out first.
I open up my suitcase, rummaging through it. Groaning in frustration at the lack of attire. Finally just picking out a tight, low cut, dark red silk, halter dress that stopped just above my mid thigh. My eyebrow raises, not remembering packing this. I shrug it off, grabbing a pair of black lace, boy short cut panties.
I grab the rest of the stuff from my bag that I would need to get ready, and making my way to the adjoining bathroom. I set all my things along the bathroom counter. I decided against having a second shower of the day and plug my leopard print straightener into the outlet. While waiting for it to heat up, I begin to do my makeup. Giving myself a smokey eye look, a soft rose colour blush on my cheeks, and applying a matte red lipstick.
Once finishing my makeup and pleased with the outcome, I quickly reach for my phone to turn on some music. Scrolling through my selection, I ended up deciding on some good nostalgic high school tunes. Picking 'Sugar We're Going Down - Fallout Boy'. The beginning of the song started to play and I couldn't help begin to sing and dance along,
