October's Point Of View:

We left the quiet cottage and headed out to the private jet Roman had waiting for us.

It still baffles me how much money he had, but I guess being alive for over a thousand years you collect a lot.

We drove in comfortable silence in the packed SUV, holding each other's hands. As we kept driving a sudden question popped into my head,

"When you mark me will it... Hurt?" I ask hesitantly, turning my body to face Roman.

He kept his eyes on the road, but furrowed his eyebrows together like he was in deep thought. He didn't reply for a few moments, which mad m awkwardly shift in my seat.

"It will hurt initially, but pleasure will soon take over. Then the link you feel for me now, will only become stronger. But remember... We will have to be... Making love in order for the claim to work." He slightly struggled with his words, not wanting to pressure me into anything.

My cheeks flushed at the remembrance of today's events in the shower. I gave him a simple nod, afraid my words would show how desperate I am for the claim to happen.

I rested my head against the cool window, my eyes scanning the forest that surrounds us. I was just about to look away when I saw something in the woods, running quickly almost beside our SUV, but far enough in the woods to be hidden.

I lift my head up from the window and squint, trying to get a better view. I gasp at the sight. It was an abnormally large wolf, with midnight black fur that gleamed. It was strikingly beautiful, but somewhere deep inside me told me to be very afraid. Like it knew I was staring at it, it turned it's large head and... Smirked?

Wolves don't smirk, do they?!

Roman glanced over to me, giving me a questioning stare. He followed my gaze, but by the time he looked, the creature was gone.

My heartbeat excelled, and I gripped my seat firmly in fear. That wasn't an ordinary wolf. That was a Lycan, the wolf creature Roman told me about last night.

Roman quickly picked up on my discomfort, his face covered in concern,

"What's wrong, Angel?" He asked urgently, looking between the road and me.

I shook my head, my breath coming out in short pants as fear racked my body,

"I saw one of them! It was running in the forest beside us! It was humungous, and had gleaming black fur! Then it smirked at me in almost a wicked way..." I stated nervously, unsure if my eyes were playing tricks on me.

Suddenly Roman slammed on the breaks, causing me to lurch forward and almost hit my head on the dash. The deepest growl I've ever heard ripped through him, making me shiver in fear. His face masked like a demon, he catapulted out of the SUV and dashed to the outskirts of the woods.

"Stay the fuck away from my mate, Hudson! This will be your only warning." He called out, venom seeping and oozing from his words.

I bring my knees up to my chest, rocking back and forth uncomfortably in the seat. Images of the wolf and it's wicked grin replaying in my mind.

I hadn't notice Roman get back in the car until he slammed the door, shaking the whole vehicle.

"He found us." Was all he said as we drove off.

~~~~~~
I slept through the entire plane ride to Roman's parents. So the flight to Romania was quick for me.
Roman shook me awake gently, and reluctantly I opened my eyes to a dim lit Jet cabin.
"We're here baby." He says softly, helping me get up.
Groggily I get up and follow him out of the Jet and on to the Tarmac. We load into the waiting limo, sitting side by side. I snuggle into his side, ready to head off once again.
The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The old villages we passed on our venture was something straight out of an old time photos.
It took about two hours to reach our destination. We pulled up to an old dirt driveway and up to a pair of worn iron gates that were covered in ivy.
The gates creaked open almost magically as we pulled through. Which gave me the creeps.
Soon we rounded the corner and a large stone castle came into view, which took my breath right out of my lungs. It was absolutely stunning! It stood tall and proud, although slightly worn. Also it was covered in moss, and ivy, just adding to the old eerie feeling of the whole place.
When we pull up to the entrance, I practically leap from my seat to get out of the car to get a better look at this magnificent place.
Just as Roman and I got to the large engraved mahogany doors, they swung open and we were greeted by the most enchanting couple.
The man dressed in a formal black tux, whom looked exactly like Roman only a bit older smiled at us sincerely. Where as the woman who wore a long, deep red, long sleeved evening gown, smiled at us fondly with tears sprinkling in her baby blue eyes.
I felt very out of place as Roman wrapped his arm around me proudly. I couldn't help but feel extraordinarily plain compared to these three beautiful people.
"Hello you two. We are so happy to finally meet this gorgeous creature, you call your mate." I assume his father says, embracing me in a light hug which caused me to blush feverishly.
"It's so nice to meet you both, Mr. and Mrs. Harper." I greet quietly.
Suddenly his mother engulfed me in a bone crushing hug,
"Please call us, George and Adeline. I am so happy to finally meet you Roman has told us all about you, but his words don't do you justice! You're simply perfect." She cooes, finally letting me go.
I giggle slightly at Roman's slightly horrified face. Knowing he wasn't used to being embarrassed.
"Now you two go get some rest. We will have to get ready for the mating ceremony soon." His mother ushers us through the main foyer and to the grand staircase.
Soon I will be all Roman's and he will be all mine.
