The radio played quietly in the car.  The only other sounds were my breathing and the sound of tires hitting the concrete. I drummed my fingers against the wheel, biting my lip. I didn't want to be a physco-ex girlfriend, but this is something I just had to do. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. The sky was already pitch black and it was nearing midnight. I hummed along to the radio as I drove on.

Another hour passed and I was almost there. My heart started beating quicker as I recognized where I was. I saw the restaurant where we had went for dinner that one night. I looked away. My phone buzzed in my pocket. Careful to keep my eyes on the road, I pulled it out and answered the call.

"Hey?" I asked.

"What're you doin,'" I heard Chase ask. We weren't very close so I'm not sure why he called me, but it was a good distraction.

"I'm in the car," I said.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Mmm...nowhere in particular," I replied back.

We kept chatting until I pulled up outside of Hamzahs.

"Why're you driving at like two in the morning?" He asked. I laughed.

"Gotta go. Bye." I hung up.

My heart was picking up now. I got that swirly feeling in my stomach as I switched off the car and slowly got out. He wouldn't be up at this time, I just know it. As I stood in front of the building I realized what a stupid idea the whole thing was. I never should've came. I turned around and was about to get back into my car before I heard someone call out my name.

"Aurora!"

I spun around, facing the building again. I looked upward and saw Hamzahs face through the window. He looked confused. I felt embarrassed and felt my face flush red.

"Um, hi." I said.

"Come up," He said softly, just enough for me to be able to hear him. My heart pounded but I nodded and started walking up to his apartment. I sort of felt like my brain was frozen- like I was a robot following instinct. I finally got to his door and was about to knock when it opened. Hamzah stood in front of me. The same one I had left not too long ago.

"Aurora," He breathed. Before I knew it he wrapped me in a hug. I didn't know what to say at first, but I after a couple of seconds I slowly hugged him back. I pulled away after what felt like a minute.

"Listen, I'm sorry for not listening to you and I'm sorry for coming here so late. It's just, I- I miss you. I regret everything, and I'm sorry." I stared down at my feet, too ashamed to say anything more.

"Hey," I heard him say softly. I peeked back up. I hadn't noticed it before in the rush of the moment but he looked sad, eyes red and hair messy.

"I'm sorry for everything too. I should've told you the second she texted me. I'm so sorry," He said, pulling me into another hug. I smiled slightly and pulled away.

"Can I come in?" I asked. He smiled and I walked in, not saying anything. The room was the same as it was before. It felt sad being back here.

"Can we talk?" Hamzah said, scratching the back of his head and closing the door. I nodded and sat on the couch, folding my hands on my lap. He sat next to me.

"Do you want to get back together?" He asked, out of the blue. I wasn't expecting him to be so straightforward about it. He must've seen my face and took it as a no.

"Sorry, I'm bad at talking- I don't know what I was thinking-"

"Sh," I said. I smiled.
"We need to work on some things, but if there's one thing that I know it's that I love you. I'm sorry for overreacting and I hope we can try again," I said. He smiled.

"I would love to."

Hamzah and I have been dating for almost a year now. After we had patched everything up, we got back together and fell probably even more in love then we were before. I graduated high school and was now going to college at UW. I was beyond happy, and it was insane how much my life had changed. Freakshow still existed, and I was closer than ever with the rest of them. My social media presence had grown enormously and I was getting lots of offers for partnerships and new opportunities. I was studying to become a business major, but I had gotten quite a few offers to be a model in ads across the country. Life was going great, and I'm glad I still had my friends and Hamzah with me to support me in anything.

THE END

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING THIS honestly i never would've expected it to blow up. I decided I didn't want to disappoint everyone because I wasn't going to be consistent with updates and this seemed like a good way to end it. I am so thankful for all the reads and so I thank you so much for reading. Writing this has been insanely fun and I loved reading all the comments and every notification I would get. I suck at endings but I still hope you enjoyed. Thank you so much for reading!
