Hᴀᴍᴢᴀʜs POV

Aurora lay asleep in my lap. I smiled down at her as her chest rose and fell with each breath. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I quickly picked it out, trying my best to not disturb her.

Michelle: 2 New messages.

I rolled my eyes, and opened the texts.

Michelle: Hey! you around? (7:34)

Michelle: are you busy tmrw? 🥺👉👈

I almost threw up at her text. All I wanted was for her to leave me alone. Suddenly, and idea popped into my head. It was time to finally confront her, and make her stop.

Me: sure. cafe @7:00 am?

Her response came almost immediately.

Michelle: Yay! i'll be there😍

I sighed and looked down at Auroras sleeping figure. I tucked a loose piece of hair behind her ear. I was thankful to have her. I would be lost without her.

A ray of sunshine hit my eyes, right as I was opening them. I groaned and rolled over.

"Ow!" I yelled. I had fallen off something. I sat up and rubbed my head. I had fallen off Hamzahs couch. We must've fallen asleep there last night. Speaking of Hamzah, where was he? I stood up and looked around. The apartment seemed empty.

"Hamzah?" I asked. I tiptoed around the apartment, checking all the rooms. Not the bedroom, bathroom, or kitchen. I couldn't seem to find him. I checked the clock on the television stand. It was 7:03. I wondered where Hamzah would possibly be at this time in the morning. I decided to quickly wash my face and get dressed. I went to the bathroom and changed into a tank top and sweats, plus one of Hamzahs hoodies I had found in his room. I walked back over and sat on the couch, grabbing the remote and switching on the TV. I had one text from Hamzah.

Hammie: Out to grab coffee be back asap

Me: kk

That made much more sense. I smiled and pulled the blanket onto my lap, clicking on dance moms and settling down to watch it.

Hᴀᴍᴢᴀʜs POV

I sat anxiously on a chair in the cafe, pretending to be on my phone as I waited for Michelle. Although I wasn't interested in Michelle, I still felt guilty for meeting her behind Auroras back. I just didn't want her to worry, as I know she would. I fidgeted with the weather app until the door bell jingled and a girl walked in. I looked up. Michelle.

"Hamzah!" She said, walking toward me. I stood up to meet her. She wrapped her arms around me in a hug. I felt gross, but hugged her back lightly before pulling away.

"We need to talk," I said. She smiled and pulled my arm down so we were sitting in the cushy chairs.

"Of course. What's up?" She said, smiling.

"I need you to stop talking to me," I said. Her smile fell.

"But why?" She asked.
