ch 3

2nd person POV

you turned around to face the man from earlier. he had a black sweater on with his hands in his pockets and was staring intensely at you.

"sorry we're closed" you said with a stoic face, not realizing this was the man from before. he pulled his hands out of his pocket, and aimed right at you with a gun.

you looked at the gun, then at him and stared, waiting for him to say something. 'do it, pussy.' you thought.

"you embarrassed me in front of my wife." he hissed at you.

'are you serious?' you thought while mentally rolling your eyes. you just stood here staring at him, until he pulled back on the thingy that gets the bullet ready to be fired (idk what its called don't come at me). you now had an eyebrow raised. you couldn't believe the stupidity of this man.

"dude, what are you doing?" you asked in an annoyed voice. you could tell he was drunk by how he was slowly tilting to the left, yet the gun still remained pointed at you.

Todoroki POV

'god my dad is so annoying' Todoroki thought to himself, while taking a night walk. he was walking past a few shops til he spotted the coffee place he was at earlier. he looked in the giant windows to see the same person who served him before. but they were... standing in front of a gun. he stood shocked for a second before looking both ways and crossing the street.

back to your second person POV

"why are you really doing this dude?" you asked. "did I shatter your masculinity? are you throwing a tantrum because you're upset someone like me is more powerful than you?"

"shut up bitch!" he yelled before pulling the trigger.

you teleported behind him, a split second before he fired the gun. you grabbed a napkin holder and hit him in the back of the head with it. he was knocked unconscious and fell to the floor. you stood there shocked.

"he was really going to shoot me, whatta bitch" you muttered while shaking your head in disbelief. you heard someone open the door behind you. your eyes widened and you held up the napkin holder in defense.

Todoroki stood there wide eyed while you relaxed at the sight of him.

"what happened?" he asked while while walking up to the man laying unconscious. you kicked the gun away from the mans hands and walked to the landline.

"I don't know" you started to say as you walked to the phone to call the police. "he was mad that I embarrassed him in front of his wife or something" you laughed.

Todoroki watched as you explained the situation to the police. he was genuinely interested on how you managed to get behind him so fast.

after the call was ended, you walked up to the counter and propelled yourself up to sit on it. Todoroki was standing behind a chair across from you. he pulled out the chair and took a seat while you yawned.

"you can leave if you want" you offered to him. he shook his head and looked at the man.

"what if he wakes up?" he asked. he was a little worried that the man would wake up and run, or worse.

"oh yeah thats a good point." you responded while chuckling. you were a little in shock. you didn't actually expect him to shoot at you. and if you weren't so gosh darn smart and teleported right before, you probably wouldn't even be here.

"so whats your name? I remember you from earlier" you asked him. you were trying to keep your mind off the subject.

"Todoroki Shouto. what about you?" he asked while staring at you. he noticed that every few seconds you would look at the unconscious man, worried he would wake up and attack you again.

"(y/n) (l/n). sorry i'm a little shaken up" he nodded his head at your response. you never looked him in the eyes. you were trembling. you're usually an optimistic person with a smile on your face. but now, your eyes were wide, you're mouth slightly open, gripping the counter behind you until your knuckles were white.

you both sat in a comfortable silence, until you saw blue and red lights from the corner of your eye. 'finally' you thought.

after being interviewed by the police, you readied yourself to walk home. you only lived about 10 minutes away from the cafe. you could get there in 6 minutes if you walked fast. as you were preparing to leave, todoroki approached you

"are you sure you want to walk home like this?" he questioned you. what type of hero would he be if he allowed someone in your mental state to walk home alone?

"nah im fine dont worry about me" you chuckled lightly. internally, you were freaking out, but you knew what streets to avoid, and you were always on high alert when walking alone, especially at night.

todoroki pointed in the direction you walk to go home, "do you live this way?". he wanted to make sure you got home okay.

you nodded your head and began to walk. he quickly caught up to you. you both walked in a comfortable silence until you arrived at your house.

"this is me" you pointed at a one story house. there was a big window that showed your living room. along with your dad passed out on the sofa. he was surrounded by alcohol bottles. you mentally rolled your eyes seeing your dad like this. you checked the time: 8:45 pm 'right on time' you thought to yourself.

~todoroki POV~
"this is me" he snapped back to reality and viewed where you were pointing to. 'this is a nice house' he thought. obviously, he lived in a ginormous mansion, but he appreciated the simplicity of his house.

'is that... their dad?' he furrowed his brows at the view of a passed out father. he couldn't believe the irresponsibility of someone with a child.

"you can leave now. thank you for walking me home" you bowed and turned away. he watched you slowly walk towards the door. right before you opened your front door, you took a deep breath.

todoroki watched you walk through your house from the big window in the living room. you walked past your dad on the sofa. todoroki saw you stare at your dad for a split second. your face changed from calm and stoic to angry and irritated. your brows furrrowed and you squeezed your hand in a tight ball. then, you turned and walked out of todoroki's sight.

a/n: hey y'all. just wanted to let you guys know that if you are ever walking, especially alone, always be on high alert. walk in the opposite direction of the cars, so the cars are coming towards you, and can't approach you from behind and SNATCH YA. be careful everyone, and if you feel uncomfortable, it doesn't hurt to call someone or the police for reassurance. stay safe✨🌻
