Chapter 3: Meeting the Avengers

You and Tony arrived at the tower almost instantly. You got out of the car and once you faced the tower you realised that in some minutes you would be meeting the Avengers, for a moment, you froze. You really had to control that though, you were going to live with those people, you could keep acting like a crazy fan every time you looked at them. But then again you were about to step into he Avengers Tower! It was quite big and scary.

Tony saw you standing there looking at the baronial building with eyes full of admiration and tread. He gently placed his hand on your shoulder and gave you a reassuring smile. He didn't say with words but his eyes and smile clearly said 'it's going to be okay' which made you feel quite better. You were actually very surprise of Tony's gift to make you calm down in a instant and just by one look, no one else had that, or to be exact one person did, but she isn't anymore...

You entered the building and everyone started coming towards you and Tony saying good morning to him and coming on with questions and matters as if he was some kind of celebrity. Which he was of course but you didn't think he was that much of celebrity. During all this craziness you could hear not only everybody's loud voices but their random thoughts as well which made you feel a light dizziness, you may had control over your powers but sometimes the loud thoughts of some people were too many for you to handle. Then you finally got into the elevator and the doors closed making the voices stop in a second.

"You okay kid?" Tony asked in concern.

"Yes fine, I just...too many people. Too many thoughts, you know" You put your hand on your forehead.

Tony offered you his hand to hold on and you gratefully took it and gave him a weak smile.

By the time you arrived at the pent, on the 25th floor of the tower you were already feeling better and ready to meet everyone. The elevator door opened and revealed the most beautiful penthouse you had ever seen. The first thing your eyes caught was a large, modern looking living room with a fireplace and a huge TV on top of it with a coffee table and three large couches around it and some light decorations all around the place.

Walking a little bit further into the house and looking around you the the kitchen right behind the living room. It was simple but beautiful and quite modern as well. You and Tony walk into the living room and saw everyone sitting on the couches.

Everyone.

You saw Natasha and Clint sitting next I to each other and Steve with Bucky sitting on the couch opposite to them all talking. Thor was sitting in the middle couch with his feet on the coffee table with Dr. Banner sitting right next to him. Everyone had now turned to look at you which made you feel quite embarrassed at that moment. Before you could say anything you saw Peper Pots coming out of the kitchen with a big smile on her face.

"Hi, I am Pepper. Welcome." She gave you a big unexpected hug which honestly made you feel so good.

"Hi...I'm y/n." You pulled away from the hug and awkwardly waved at everyone else.

Natasha immediately stood up and walked towards you. You suddenly had the urge to take a few steps back as she approached but you didn't. You stood still until she came right in front of you.

"I am Natasha, Tony says I'll train you so be ready." She crossed her hands in front of her chest and looked you up and down.

"I actually know who you are. I know all of you, you are kind of famous. And honestly it's-" Your voice cracked up until Natasha cut you.

"If you say it's an honor to meet us I swear to God I am going to hit you."

"Then let's see who hits harder." Once the words were out of your mouth you realised what you had just said and you couldn't believe this was you. It was mostly a reflex, you were used to bullies and you didn't quite like them. But Black Widow was not a bully.
