"Y/n!" Loki shouted and snapped you back into reality.

You looked into his eyes, trying to hold back your tears. Of course you failed and within seconds you started sobbing. You looked back down at your hands, not wanting Loki to see you like that.

Loki immediately kneeled in front of you and wiped all of your tears away. He gently caressed your cheeks with his soft palms. You lifted your head and looked into your sweet boyfriend's deep, forest green eyes. He was looking at you too, with a loving and reassuring smile.

Somehow he made you feel like everything was going to be okay but at the same time you had a huge feeling of sadness and hopelessness inside of you that would not go away. You felt as if someone had grabbed your heart and was constantly squeezing it harder and harder. Though you knew that Loki was there to heal you and make you feel better.

You took a few more deep breaths and when you were finally starting to feel better you returned a weak smile to Loki.

"Are you okay darling?" He said gently as he took his hands away from your face. "I know this is a lot but-"

"Yes." You suddenly cut him and stood up. "But I think I know how to fix it."

Both Loki and Frigga looked at you in confusion. They waited anxiously for your next words, so you took a deep breath and started talking.

"Well....I know that there is a spell that allows you to connect with the spirits of the dead." You said and they were both immediately shocked.

You knew very well that what you were suggesting was extremely hard and maybe a little dangerous but it was really your best shot.

"How do you know about that kind of spell?" Frigga asked you worried.

"Funny story..." You laughed awkwardly. "I found it on one of Loki's spell books."

"What?" Loki asked still in shock.

"It was, I think a week after I could finally read Asgardian well, so I thought I would...practice."

"Why would you do that?" He stood in front of you, just a little mad at that point and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I don't know Loki. Anyway that's not important, okay? Sorry I read your books, I'll never do it again. Can we now focus on the spell, please?" You talked fast trying to defuse the tension.

Loki sighed and it seemed like he decided to let this one go. Frigga walked up to you and stood next to her son. She seemed quite confused and worried as she looked at you. Loki had a similar look on his face as her. They both starred at each other for a couple of seconds and you knew they were talking trough their minds again.

It honestly started to bother you that they did that. You kinda felt left out. Loki wouldn't let you into his mind, no matter how hard you had tried some times, and Frigga was way too powerful for you to even think of entering into hers.

"So? Are we doing it or what?" You finally said, quite annoyed, interrupting whatever they were talking about.

"Right, sorry." Loki said, clearly knowing why you acted like that.

"Dear, do you know how dangerous the spell you are talking about is?" Frigga said with a calm and steady voice.

"Yes but you said you are the most powerful witch on Asgard."

"This doesn't change much. The spell is very dangerous even for me."

"But we have no other choice!" You raised your voice.

"Darling, mother is right." Loki tried to calm you down.

"But I need to know, Loki!" You continued shouting.
