The loud gun shot made your heart stop for a second. You immediately froze and slowly turned around, praying for your feeling to be wrong. Sadly this was not the case.

As you turned around you saw Loki, laying on the ground. He was almost unconscious and fully covered in blood. Someone had shot him on his side.

Suddenly time stopped and your heart dropped. You could hear some loud noises and yells coming from behind. Some of the yells were Tony and Steve’s, you even heard Thor at some point but mostly your head was fuzzy.

The noise of the world kept fading more and more up to the point that you could listen to them anymore. Your eyes were still stuck on Loki. Your thoughts started to draft and your vision became more and more blurry every second. Soon you had no idea what you were doing or what was happening around you. In less that a minute everything was dark.

Thor’s POV

You and Loki had been only a few feet away before the first gun shot was heard. You were so close into being saved but at the last moment it was all gone. Loki was now laying on the floor, he was bleeding from his side and had almost unconscious.

You had froze in front of him. Both Tony and Steve were yelling for you to get away but you wouldn’t listen. Two men shot you with their guns but thankfully they missed. Thor had come out of the jet and was terrified for the fate of his brother. He was too yelling both your and Loki’s name but, as everyone else, he got no answer.

The three men started running towards you and the wounded Loki. Tony shot about four guys with his suit and Steve knocked down three more with his shield. Thor was in no condition to shoot anyone, he had to go to his brother as soon as possible.

They kept calling out for you but they didn’t get the slightest response, you were still frozen, looking down on the wounded God. They were so close to getting both of you our of there when suddenly a huge purple wave of energy blast them on the other side of the yard. When they got up again they saw you, floating into he air with the purple mist around your hands slowly covering up your whole body.

Everyone was looking at you wide eyed. Thor had never, in all his years, seen so much power in his life. He had certainly heard stories about powerful Asgardian witches but never thought you would be one of them.

In only a second after Thor was back on his feet you were already floating higher into the air, while about a dozen guards with heavy guns were running towards you. Steve and Tony kept yelling your name as loud as they could but you didn’t seem to listen anymore.

You then started floating around, still surrounded by the purple mist. Loki was looking at you with a shocked and even scared face, trying to keep his consciousness for as long as he could. Thor was worried for his brother more than he was for you. He could now see how powerful you really were but also knew how little you knew to use this power.

“Thor, what is happening?” Tony finally asked.

“I don’t know Stark. Y/n is...”

“Powerful.” Steve added.

“Is this some weird Asgardian shit?” Tony said.

“I don’t know. I have never seen such power!”

“Well we have to do something.” Steve stepped up.

“No!” Thor objected. “The closer we get to her the more dangerous it will be. Especially for you, mortals.”

“So we just sit around and do nothing? Great plan Thor.” Tony said with irony.

They all looked at eachother. Both Thor and Tony were right. They had to do something but it was a too much of a risk to go closer to you.

They all looked at you for a few more seconds as you started knocking down the guards one after the other. Some seemed still okay but some were for sure dead. Thor’s heart was pounding so fast and a wave of anxiety rushed over him.

“Y/N!” Tony yelled unexpectedly. “Kid please stop this!”

“Y/n come down please!” Steve yelled too.

No matter what they said you wouldn’t listen. You continued to wave your hands around and with only a few simple moves, knocking down everyone that even tried to come close to you. The good thing (if someone could call it such) was that your magic had somehow created a shield around you and Loki, though Thor was not sure how good being exposed to such an amount of magic could do to his brother in this condition.

“She won’t listen.” Said Steve.

“Guys! What are we going to do?” Natasha shouted from the earpiece.

“Not an easy situation Romanoff!” Tony replied.

“Someone has to go and talk to her!”

“We can’t go close. If you haven’t notice she is like a living bomb!”

Tony and Natasha continued on fighting while Steve tried to retain peace. Thor in the meanwhile was trying to figure out a plan to help both you and his brother. How he wished his mother was there at that point, she was really the only one who would know how to handle this situation. Or maybe if he knew a little more about magic he could help himself. Overall the truth was one; he had to do something.

Suddenly Thor started walking towards you. He wasn’t entirely sure of what he was doing but still he was doing it. As he came closer he felt a strong wave magic pushing him back, but he managed to resist. When he was only two feet away from you he stopped and looked at you intensely. You still hadn’t noticed him, you were too busy taking out guards while increasing the amount of power coming out of you by the second.

Loki was still laying on the ground right under you, almost unconscious. He was struggling to resist both closing his eyes and getting totally wrecked by your powers.

And then it hit him. Thor knew exactly what to do. It was merely simple; he had to focus on the one thing you cares the most for.

“Y/N!” He yelled. “Y/n please.” But you still wouldn’t listen. “Y/n, you’ll hurt Loki!”

Suddenly you turned around and you took a quick glimpse of Loki before turning to Thor. You seemed like you were mumbling something that Thor could not hear. Your eyes were glowing purple and you had an angry and, at the same time, scared look on your face. It looked like you were really struggling.

The purple light in your eyes flickered for a second. Thor saw your struggle to put it out but failed. You looked like you were possessed. Of course Thor knew that was impossible but still was worried. You then turned back to Loki, still mumbling the words Thor could not listen.

Loki was looking at you with a scared expression on his face. Though when you turned to him and he looked a little better at you his eyes widened and his expression changed to terror. Thor knew at that point that he had to do something fast but still could not hurt you.

And then, the perfect solution came up.

Thor lifted his hammer up on the air and looked at the night sky. Soon the deep blue sky was filled with big grey clouds and loud thunders were heard everywhere. Then some lighting was shown into the clouds and on Thor’s hammer as well. In less than a second so many bolts of lighting hit the ground around the mansion that gave light to the night.

Suddenly you turned and looked around. You were scared and, as Thor hopped, had lost focus. The light in your eyes started flickering faster and soon in was off. You started falling from the air but Thor was there to catch you.

When all was done, the others came from the Quinjet with a stretcher to get Loki while Thor moved your unconscious body inside the jet. He placed you gently down on the seats. Loki was soon carried into the jet and placed in the middle of it.

Some guys started coming out of the mansion again but everyone was already inside the Quinjet and Tony quickly took off. Once the jet was far from danger Bruce stood before Loki. He slowly and carefully started examining Loki, who was now completely unconscious.

“Is he okay Banner?” Thor asked full in concern.

“He will be.” Bruce nodded with a tone of uncertainty in his voice.

“Banner!” Thor demanded.

“He has been shot Thor! Three times! Nothing is for sure.”

“Banner you better be jocking.”

Thor approached Bruce with a threatening look on his face. He twisted Mjolnir oh his hand and looked Bruce in the eyes. He though was not scared. He returned the God’s stare and made his hands into fists. Not a second later they started to turn green but Steve stepped in.

“Ok that’s enough now!” Both immediately snapped out of it. “There is no need for such things. Loki will be fine. If anyone can save him this is Dr. Banner, and we will be home in time for him to do so. Tony can this go faster?” Steve then turned to Tony.

“We’re almost there Cap.” Tony replied anxiously. “How’s y/n?”

Everyone then turned to you. You were still laying unconscious on the seats of the jet. Nat was standing above you, continuosly holding your hand.

“She looks fine.” She replied. “What was that out there?”

No one had an answer for that. They were all so scared when they saw you like that. They all turned to Thor with their last hopes of getting some form of answer. He was looking at you intensely, he knew very well that he was probably the only one that could probably explain what had happened out there but sadly had nothing. He was as confused as everyone else.

“Thor.” Natasha stood up.

“I am afraid I have nothing.”

“What do you mean you have nothing?” Tony stood up and left JARVIS on the wheel.

“Stark...” Thor started but Tony cut him.

“All kinds of weird shit have happened science you three came back from Asgard. Or even better science your troublesome brother started training her!” Tony was now standing in front of Thor, looking at him in the eyes.

“Tony, let’s just calm down. I know we are all a little tensed-“ Steve tried to bring order back but Tony cut him too.

“No, Cap. Don’t try to blame this on the tension. You know I am right. I knew we should have never trusted Reindeer Games to train y/n. Now look what happened!”

“Take that back!” Thor demanded.

“Tony, I don’t think it’s a good idea.” Nat stepped in and tried to calm Tony down.

“Why? Did we offend you little brother? Come one Thor we all know who he is!”

“Loki would never let any harm come to y/n.” Thor continued.

“Oh yeah? And why is that? Because he is good now?”

“Tony...” Nat whispered into his ear but it was too late.

“Because he loves her!” Thor finally snapped and everyone was shocked. They looked at him wide eyed.

“What?” Tony took a few steps back.

“He won’t admit it but he does. I have never seen my brother like that with anyone else.”

“Wait, I don’t understand.” Steve was confused.

“They have been dating you morons! For months. Y/n has changed Loki, she brings out the best in him and even though he won’t say it he loves her. My bother would never let anyone in untill y/n. He is not the man he once was. I know he’d die before he let anything happen to her. As he did!”

Tony kept staring at Loki. He knew exactly what Thor had been talking about. Everyone could see how he had changed the past six months but as much as they were jocking around they could never think you and Loki as a thing.

Awkward silence soon filled the jet and everyone just did their job without saying another word. No one wanted to follow this conversation any further.

A few very long minutes later Tony landed the Quinjet on the top of the Avengers tower. Not a moment later Bruce and Thor rushed Loki to the medical yard while Clint and Bucky got into the jet with worried looks on their faces.

“What the hell happed?” Clint said when he saw you.

“Loki got hit very badly.” Nat said. “And y/n...Well, it’s a long story. Let’s just take her to the medical yard okay?” They both nodded and Bucky took you in his arms and carried you inside.

He then took you to the medical yard. He carefully placed you on a bed and let the doctors take over. The rest of the team was sitting on the living room and Bucky joined them with a worried expression on his face. Tony was inside the ER with Bruce and the doctors trying to save Loki and the rest of them were explaining the Clint and Bucky what had happened.

When the story was over everyone was speechless. They could do nothing to help so all they could do was stay in silence and hope for the best.
