"Here's where we found the den," Stiles and Scott informed Allison and Lilith after asking them to meet at school. Apparently, Rafael had decided to investigate impeachment for Noah, so he was trying to close one last case before he was fired. That case happened to be a possible werecoyote, a little girl named Malia Tate who might have fully turned into a coyote on accident at the age of nine after a car accident. It seemed like a bit much to Lilith, but they had learned that just about anything was possible. "It's right in the middle of the hiking trails."

"Well, that could narrow it down. Coyotes travel on fixed trails, but I think you're right about her not going back to her den. Coyotes don't like wolves, and they're really smart. If they don't want to be heard, they actually walk on their toes," Allison explained, Lilith wondering where her overnight knowledge of coyotes came from.

"Coyotes tip-toe?" Stiles asked, almost joking.

"They tip-toe," she agreed, rolling her eyes. The bell rang, signaling that the two girls needed to get to class.

"We've gotta go. Send us the pinned location, yeah?" Lilith asked them, the boys nodding as the both left for class.

"Xylazine. It's a tranquilizer for horses," Deaton told Lilith, Scott, Stiles, and Isaac at the clinic that afternoon. Apparently, Malia had gotten onto school grounds, looking for the doll Stiles had taken from her. Now, they had to catch her before the sheriff's department put her down, or worse, Mr. Tate himself. "For a werecoyote, expect it to work in seconds. I only have three, so whoever's shooting needs to be a damn good shot."

"Allison's a perfect shot," Scott told him, Lilith having plenty of evidence to disagree.

"She used to be," Isaac corrected him.

"She can do it," he reassured them, turning to Lilith. "And if she can't, you can. You've got good enough aim, right?"

"I used to, but like Allison, I'm not so sure anymore," she admitted, Scott shaking his head. They had no choice, and no one in that group was a better shot than them.

"Plus, we still have to manage to find the thing," Isaac reminded them, Lilith groaning. Though it would suck for her conscience, she was starting to regret not slitting his throat in the woods the other day.

"Okay, what is the point of him? Seriously, I mean, what is his purpose? Aside from the persistent negativity and the scarf? What's up with the scarf anyway? It's 65 degrees out," Stiles vented, the witch almost laughing. He had a point, but she wasn't going to say that out loud. She didn't hate Isaac, he just really got on her nerves for no reason.

"Look, maybe I'm asking a question no one here wants to ask. How do we turn a coyote back into girl, when she hasn't been a girl in eight years?" Isaac asked, Deaton glancing at Scott as if he knew something the rest of them didn't.
