"I'M SAYING WE need a new plan, because next time, one of us is going to be too hurt to heal," Derek told the McCall's as they walked through Derek's abandoned bus of a home.

"I get it, we can't save Jackson," Scott agreed, Lilith shrugging.

"We can't kill him, though. He heals from everything too quickly," Lilith added, Derek nodding. He seemed lost, almost hurt. But most importantly, he seemed scared.

"I've seen a lot of things. But, I've never seen anything like this. And every new moon's just gonna make him stronger." Lilith was concerned for Derek, who had never looked so worried since they had met.

"But how do we stop him?" Scott asked.

"I don't know, I don't even know if we can," He told them honestly.

"Maybe we should just let the Argent's handle it," Scott suggested, but Derek shook his head.

"I'm the one who turned him. It's my fault," he mumbled, hanging his head low.

"Yeah, you turned him but this isn't your fault. There was no way you could've known this would happen. It happened because of something in his past, right?" Lilith reassured him, but it didn't exactly work.

"That's a legend in a book, it's not that simple," Derek disagreed, head still hung low.

"What do you mean? What are you not telling me?"Scott questioned.

"Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?" Derek asked, his face contorting as if he'd been attacked.

"Well, Derek, you don't exactly have the best track record," Lilith pointed out, the man giving her a glare.

"I do it to protect you," he said, still looking at Lilith, but his eyes had softened.

"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets?" Lilith had to laugh at his comment, thinking it was a horrible thought. If you're a leader, you keep secrets from your people to protect them, Derek just does it a little more than he should.

"Go home, both of you," he ordered, turning away from them. "Sleep, heal, make sure your friends are safe. 'Cause the full moon's coming and with the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one."

"Clear your schedule! This could take a while," Lydia called to Allison as she and Lilith entered Allison's room. Lucky for Lilith, Chris didn't tell Gerard about their run in and she was in the clear. The man almost said something to her, but decided not to with Lydia nearby.

Allison followed the girls to her bed, setting down the three Macy's bags. "How many outfits do you plan on wearing tonight?" Allison queried.

"It's my birthday party. I'm thinking, host dress-" she pulled up a black, white, and grey striped dress. "-evening dress, then after hours casual." Lilith was proud of her friend who seemed to not care that the whole town thought she was insane and continued to throw another big party. Plus, the two had never truly made amends, yet she was still invited to the outfit picking portion. Anyone who had been to one of Lydia's parties knew that was a privilege not many had.
