"We have an assembly this period." Destiny said. It was Friday, last period We walked near the auditorium.
"I have to go to the office, first. I'll meet you guys there. Save me a seat."
I said, and walked off towards the principal's office. Bethany is waiting outside the office."What'd you do, Bethany?" I ask.
"Nothing. He told us to meet here."
"Just you and me?" I questioned.
"Yeah." Bethany said, patting the bench. I sat down next to her. After a couple of minutes, the principal came out and called us in.
"I've heard that Ms. Miller has been threatening you, Ms. Collins?" He said.
"Umm.. that's a false statement, sir. She didn't threaten me." Bethany said.
"Well, what I have heard seems to be going around, and this assembly is to announce the upcoming dance, but unfortunately Ms. Miller, you may not participate. One more strike and you're expelled, understand? That counts as going to the dance. Please head to the auditorium, ladies." He declaimed.
"Okay." I said, and got up to leave. Bethany followed me.
"You told him that I threatened you? That's what you've been trying to do?"
"I promise you it wasn't me. The only rumors going around is how I became nice to you and why I did. He hates your father, that's why. My mom told me they went to highschool together." Bethany walked beside me to the auditorium.
"Well, I hate my father, too. That bitch can hate me all he wants. But I hope it wasn't you who got me in trouble. Adelaine and them saved me a seat, but I'm not sitting there. You can if you want, they're loosening up to you."
"It's fine, I'm sitting with Stephanie. I'll find you a way for you to go to that dance. Want to come over to my house after school?" Bethany asked.
"Sure. Don't tell anyone what happened in that office. I will later." I said, as we walked into the auditorium. She nodded and waved goodbye. She walked to her seat beside Stephanie. I stood near the side entrance of the auditorium. It was near the end of the assembly. At the last bell, everyone filed out of the auditorium. I waited outside for Adelaine.
"Aren't you excited for the dance?" Destiny cheered.
"Yeah, sure for you guys." I said.
"Oh, lighten up, you'll find a date to the dance like tomorrow." Crissie said. Yeah, I'm so sure. That's exactly what I'm worried about.
"I'm meeting Bethany, I'll see you guys later at the cafe?" I asked.
"Yeah. Bethany's behind you. Hey, Bethany. Bye, Mila." Desi said. I waved goodbye, and turned to walk off with Bethany.
"You aren't going to tell them that you're not going?" Bethany asked.
"They'll find out later. I hate lying to them but if not, they won't have fun for themselves." I said, groaning.
We arrived at her house, which was big and gorgeous.
"Damn, it's stunning." I said, fawning.
"It's a new house from my mom and Jacob's dad. It's way bigger than my old house. I wish I was that rich, I'm not. My mom provides my little brother more for than him, than me." She said, as we walked into the house.
"Mom, I'm home. Phil? We have a visitor." Bethany called. Phil was Jacob's dad, I've met him before.
"Nobody is home, Beth. Just me, Jacob, Leo, and now you two. Damn, who'd you bring? She's gorgeous." A boy walked into the hall.
"Who's this?" I asked.
"This is Ryder's, my older brother. He's a senior. He's not important in the picture. Let's head to my room. It's upstairs." Bethany said, walking up the stairs.
Ryder walked beside me, and whispered in my ear. "Meet me in the bathroom." I walked up the stairs behind Bethany. We walked into her room, which wasn't what I was expecting. I placed my bag on the floor.
"I got the smallest room in the house. It sucks." Bethany growled.
"It's pretty big, but small compared to the house. It's beautiful though. I thought it would be all pink here and pink there, but I was wrong." I said.
"Hahaha. Very funny." She smirked.
"Is there a restroom that I could use?"
"Yeah, it's in the middle of mine and Ryder's room, so lock both doors." She pointed to the back corner, where there was a door. I opened it, and walked inside. I locked it behind me. Ryder was already inside, leaning against the sink.
"Took you long enough," he said.
"Well, can't a pretty boy wait?"
"I know you're Leo's ex and all that shit, but one exception?" He begged. I nodded, and we made out for a short while. I pulled away.
💨this chapter was really long so I split it into two . next half of the chapter is coming out .
