Water trickled down my face, but it wasn't tears. Suddenly, a large waterfall hits my face. I yelped and jumped up, my hand hitting something hard. My whole face was soaked, as I rubbed my eyes. I blink my eyes open, if that makes sense. Mike is rubbing the side of his face, around the top of his cheek. I washed up in the bathroom, and changed out of my soaked clothes, into light washed skinny jeans, and my strapless black plunged crop top, with nude pumps. I went back into my room to do my makeup. Mike is already changing the sheets, but keeps rubbing the side of his face, where a bruise is starting to form. I do my makeup and hair quickly, putting on a white bandana. I help Mike finish changing the sheets, since the water soaked everything.
"That was your way of waking me up?"
"Yeah," Mike laughed.
"Next time, stand back." I warned. "Where's everybody?"
"Diner, like always." Mike said, looking in my mirror, at the side of his face. I went to get him an ice pack.
"Are you okay?" I asked. "I'm sorry, baby." I kissed him on his cheek.
"It's fine." He said. I grabbed my brown cross shoulder bag, and we walk to the diner.
"Are you sure, you're okay?" I asked.
He nodded, "I am, it's okay." I kissed him on the cheek, again.
"Love you, kid. I'm sorry." I said.
"Yeah, yeah." He rolled his eyes. "How was the court trial thing?"
"They're not going to be near me, that's all I know." I exclaimed.
"That's good. You happy?" Mike asked.
"Definitely." I nodded. We arrived at the diner, everyone was already eating. I sit in the booth with Mike, Bri, and Steph.
"We heard you're free from your birth dad?" Steph exclaimed. I nodded.
"Simone." A voice said behind me, I turned around, and Leo kissed me. I smiled.
"Yeah, I'm starving. Jasper!" I called. He looked at me, and ignored me. I glared at him, and he laughed.
