Monday morning came. I washed up, earlier than usual. I changed into a white lacey short sleeved crop top, tucked in a bright blue pencil skirt. I put on white converses. I let my hair down, and accented with silver hoops, and a necklace. I put on my daily makeup. I grabbed my school bag, and went up the fire escape to Leo's room. I sat on the edge of his bed, waiting for him to wake up. After a few minutes, he woke up for school. He sat up, startled.
"How long have you been there?"
"Only a few minutes." I answered.
"Creep." He said, he went to take a quick shower, and changed into a white muscle tee, and black skinny jeans, with his white sneakers.
"You hungry?" I questioned.
"No, but some dessert for breakfast would be nice." He stood in front me.
"I can't resist, this morning. Come here." I said, I grabbed his shirt, pulling him closer. We made out for awhile.
"You have to go to school." I said.
"School's a bitch." He said, continuing.
"Leo. I'll see you later." I said, putting my hand on his cheek. I kissed him on the cheek. He pouted, with his bottom lip over his upper lip. I kissed him on the lips. He stood still. I kissed him again. He bit my lip.
"Leo, you're going to be late." I said. "I'll see you later." I kissed him on the cheek.
"Fine, Simone. Later, you owe me." He said. He left for school. Frankie woke up around 8:45am. I got her ready for school, and made her some breakfast. We walked to her school.
"Bye, sweetie. Happy birthday!" I said.
"Bye, bye. Thanks." She smiled.
"Love you, baby." I said, kissing her on the cheek. "I'll see you later, alright?" She nodded, and ran to her spot on the circle. I walked to school, and got a late pass. Instead of going to class, I went to the library. At the end of the period, I went to my next class.
"Why'd you skip class?" Leo stood behind me, as I was entering the classroom. Ooh, I was busted! I turned to face him. He looked at me.
"How'd you know?" I asked.
"I'm not stupid." He said.
"I didn't want to go to class, obviously."
"I'm telling your mom." He teased.
"I'll put in extra for you." I said.
"You're cute, only this time." He smirked. I chuckled.
"You know it won't be just this time, Foster. We both know it." I went to my seat by the window. He sat behind me.
"Simone, stop lying." He laughed. "But Marie said the party supplies are in the broom closet, and a couple of Frankie's friends are coming over at 3. Also, there's a cake that we need to pick up at the bakery at 2pm." He said.
"Okay, is Jacob coming?" I asked.
"Yeah, all of them." He answered.
"Rosie, too?" I grunted.
"She lives across the hall, I would think so?"
"Okay, Jacob and Crissie can pick up the cake. Then you go home with Hector, and Bethany to decorate the place. Rosie can help, if she wants. Adelaine and Destiny can get some drinks, or something. I'll go pick Frankie up. You think you can have everything ready by 3?" I instructed.
"Yeah. Bossypants." He stuck out his tongue at me.
"Did you get her something?" I asked.
"Umm.. about that." He bit his lip.
