Once I had everything unpacked I headed upstairs into the gryfindoor common room. Everyone was there; running about, trading sweets, showing each other where they'd gone in the holidays. I wondered up to Ron and Harry who were talking to Seamus and Neville.
"My grandma took me to Dubai, the muggles are really strange there." Neville told the others.
"I went to the quiditch World Cup!" Seamus' strange accent told them. "It was amazing!"
I think it's strange how everybody could be so happy after all that has happened. I think they just want to forget about it.
The prefects sent us to bed at 9 and I'm glad, the journey always makes me tired.
I get into bed and get out the book from under my pillow. Tales Of Beadle The Bard. I like to read every night, so I don't forget. Forget the pain, the bravery, the people who gave up their own lives to save the world. I never want to forget, I think it would be disrespectful if I did. I turn out the lamp by my bed and say, flicking my wand,
"Lumos" my wand glows. I read on.
* * *
"Hermione" the girl who I'm sharing a room with moaned. "Turn out the light" she tossed in her bed.
"It's fine" I wipe away a tear. "I'm done now anyway." I flick my wand again. "Nox".
I'm left in complete darkness.

So I wrote this chapter ages ago and I just read it now and it's real shit so just try to ignore it 😂😘
