We sat in silence at breakfast. It was never awkward between us but recently none of us could conjure up a conversation. After breakfast we went back to our dorms to collect our bags and for me to shove as many books in there as possible, my bag was already jam packed and over spilling, we hadn't even had our first lesson yet.
Our first lesson was one of my favourites that I had definitely missed, charms.
'Its Levioosa not Leviosaa' I recall. Our first ever charms lesson, everything seemed so perfect now, so easy, not anymore.
"Hey" Harry said appearing beside me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Hey" I responded. We were walking down the corridor when he grabbed my arm and dragged me to the side, getting away from the chaotic crowd.
"Look, Hermione, are you okay?" Harry asks, looking me right in the eye.
"Yeah." I reply. It was hard coming back to this place, memories flooding back and some places were being fixed, even now.
"Are you?" I ask. He removes his hand which was leaning on the stone wall behind me and sits down on a bench outside. Even though we would be late for charms class, I knew I shouldn't be preoccupied with that right now. He sighs.
"Do you ever just want everything to go back to the way it was?" I think about for it a second, sitting down next to him. I shrug.
"Sometimes, but then I think..." I smile. "Too easy." He chuckles softly.
"I will never get your ways Hermione Granger"
"Good." I say and then stand up. "Now, as much as it would be amazing to stay out here and lounge about in the sun. We have a charms class to get to." He groans and I take his hand and and drag him up.

Charms was interesting as always, it was fantastic to get back to normal classes. Even though I knew it all it was still great. It was only when me and Harry were on our way back to our common room after charms that I realised that Ron wasn't with us, actually he had not been with us for the whole lesson. Yet this is very astonishing because I had not stopped thinking about Ron since the battle and I had forgotten about him for a whole hour.
"Where's Ron?" I demanded, stopping in my tracks.
"I don't know" Harry frowned, obviously he was as shocked as me.
"Let's go to the common room to see if he's there." He suggested. I nodded.
When we got there the room was crowded but Ron was nowhere to be seen.
"Who are you looking for?" I hear a voice behind me. I spin round to see a boy with brown hair. It as the boy from earlier.
"Oh..." I trail off.
"You looked like you were looking for someone." He explained.
"Oh yeah I was just looking for a friend."
"The ginger one?"
"Yeah have you seen him?"
"Yeah I saw him go up to his room when I came back to pick up a book" he informed.
"Thank you" I start to walk but then stop and turn around.
"By the way, what's your name, I never got it"
"Kyle" he smiled. For some reason I felt my arms prickle with goosebumps at that moment. I nodded in response and walked off. That had never happened before unless you count the kiss between Ron and I but I don't think about that. I grabbed Harry's hand on the way to the steps who was talking to someone and dragged him up the boys dorm stairs.
