Something tickled my nose and I wrinkled it up to get rid of it. A few seconds later I felt it again and I opened my eyes. Ron's face filled my view. I realised he was tickling my nose with a piece of my hair. I shoved his hand away as he laughed.
"Morning beautiful." I buried my face into his chest and groaned.
"It's too early." my voice muffled by his body.
"I thought you were an early riser."
"Not this early, what time is it anyway?" I pulled away, turning around and leant into him.
"Half nine." I looked around the room as realisation hit me.
"Where's Harry?" I felt a blush rise to my cheeks. Ron chuckled.
"I think he spent the night at Ginny's. That's what he texted me anyway." I wondered whether that was weird for Ron to have his best friend sleeping with his sister, although maybe he was used to it by now.
I was lost in thought when I realised Ron was staring down at me. I peered up at him.
"What?" He didn't say anything but leaned down and pecked my lips.
"I love you." He whispered in my ear, making the hairs on my neck stand on end.
"I love you too."
We sat there for a while after that, in silence, just enjoying the warmth of each others bodies. Ron's fingers interlocked with mine but soon went up to my wrist and he was about to go up to my arm but his hands stopped at my wrist. We both looked down at the white lines that stripped my skin. My cheeks warmed as I pulled away, out of Ron's grasp and under the covers. I avoided Ron's gaze, still feeling embarrassed and ashamed. I felt his hand go under the covers and pull my arm out again. I frowned, unsure of what he was doing. He pulled my wrist up to his lips and pressed his soft lips to each one. I bit down a smile. Once he was done he looked up at me.
"Don't ever be ashamed of what shows your strength babe."

"We're going on a trip." The teacher announced when we were all sat down.
"It will be a one week trip to France. I just thought you ought to experience the outside world, for some, you don't know how the muggle world works so this should give you some insight. And it being the end of the year I was able to persuade Professor Magonagal." Excitement travelled through the air and soon enough there was a low hustle of hushed, excited voices, probably all planning who they'll be sharing a room with.
"Seeing as though most of you are pretty much adults now, you don't have to have your parents permission yet all of yours have been notified."
After the teacher told us that it would be in a few days, he continued with the normal lesson yet no one could concentrate; we were all too excited. If you can't tell, we don't really get out much.
Everyone flooded out of their seat and out of the classroom the second the bell rang, eager to talk about the trip.
"This is going to be awesome." Harry announced as he slung his arm round Ginny's shoulders.
"Yeah, I'm so excited." Ron peeked up too. He slid his hand into mine as the four of us dove into a energetic conversation and travelled to our next lesson.

"Have you packed?" Ron asked me as he fell onto my bed.
"Of course I -" I stopped in realisation.
"Ron please tell me you've packed." The guilty look on his face told me his answer was not one that I wanted to hear.
"Ron." I groaned. "You know we're leaving in like half an hour right?" Ron waved his hand casually in my direction.
"It's fine." I rolled my eyes at his relaxed behaviour then walked over to him and took his hand.
"Come on, lets go get you packed." I sighed, dragging him off my bed and out of my room.

Twenty minutes later I was feeling quite proud of myself. Ron didn't do anything apart from landing continuous kisses on my neck and calling it 'metal support', so I had to do it all myself and I manage to pack everything with five minutes spare to get down there.
"There, done." I gave a satisfied sigh as I looked at his full suitcase. I then handed him a rucksack.
"Okay don't lose this." I told him sternly. "I've packed your passport, your wallet, some snacks and a bottle of water." Ron rolled his eyes jokingly.
"Thanks Mum." I grabbed my bottomless bag and went to walk out the door but was swung back by Ron.
"Thank you." He said in a low voice before pecking my lips.
"Your welcome." I smiled back.
"I love you." He reminded me sliding his hands into mine.
"I love you too." He kissed me again and went to make it deeper but I pulled away.
"Nope." I said, a teasing tone in my voice. "We're going to be late." Ron groaned but said nothing when I pulled him out of the dorms.
When we got to the bottom of the stairs, we were greeted by Harry and Ginny.
"Hey." Harry said to us.
"Who's ready to have the time of their life then?" Ginny cheered. We didn't know then how ironic that sentence would turn out to be as we met up with the rest of the class.
