To say I was nervous was an understatement. God knows why though, I had grown up with Ron and we had been out loads of times before. But that was never alone and that was never a date. I smooth out my dress as I take one last glance in the mirror. I think I looked quite good if I do say so myself. I was wearing a red dress with a paisley pattern, paired with some brown ankle boots. I had done my hair extra fancy and had even applied some natural make up. I swung my brown leather shoulder bag onto my shoulder and grabbed my denim jacket. I took a deep breath before heading out out of the room. I walked down the stairs to find the common room empty, we were supposed to meet there at six and it's dead on six now. I looked around the room but Ron was nowhere to be found. I heard a series of thumps from the stairs that led to the boys dorm room and a few groans coming from a human falling down the stairs. Ron's face poked round the corner soon after.
"Sorry, I'm late. Oh god the boys not meant to be late, I've already screwed this up." He rambled on.
"It's fine Ron." I told him and he walks round the corner. He stopped in his tracks and looks at me.
"What?" I asked becoming self conscious.
"You look beautiful." He breathed out. I blush and looked away.
"God, how cliché can you be?" I smiled.
"What's wrong with cliché?" He asked before taking my hand and walking out the room.

When Ron stated to talk about cliche, he really meant it because fifteen minutes later we were laying on a picnic blanket, eating, in a field as stars shinned above us.
"This is really amazing Ron." I told him as I popped a grape in my mouth.
"Glad you like it." He smiled back at me. We died down into a comfortable silence after that and just ate the food. He had obviously arranged all of this himself and I was in awe at how organised he was, six year of trying to get him to be organised with his school work and he had come out with this.
"I really like you Hermione." Ron suddenly came out with, breaking the calming silence. I turned to face him smiling.
"I really like you too Ron." I whispered back. He pressed his lips against mine and then pulled away to look at me. I smiled up at him. He brought his hand up to my cheek and stroked it as he looked down at me. After that we both laid down on the blanket, me snuggled into his chest, and we watched the stars.

I entered the classroom to see Ron's perky face. I smiled and he patted the seat next to him.
"I saved you a seat." He told me when I approached him.
"Thanks." I sat down and he leaned and planted a small kiss on my lips. I looked around, self-consciously to see if anyone saw. Nobody cared. It was just so casual, as though we had been doing it all our life. Ron scanned my face, anxiously to see my reaction. It was as though he did it automatically and the action of it even shocked him. I gave him a wide smile to let him know that I was okay with it, actually I was more than okay with it. His face broke out into a smile and he wrapped an arm around me. I leant into his chest as our fingers tangled together. (Ugh this is so fucking cheesy 🤢😂). The professor walked in and our lesson started. I sat upright, ready to make notes and to learn. Throughout the bad time I had become distracted from my studies and I was quite excited to get back to learning.
"Okay, today were going to be..." the teacher droned on and I tried my hardest to pay attention and ignore the sparks travelling up my arm as Ron linked his fingers with mine. In that moment I was very aware of two things; one, that I had misspelled the word 'because' and two, I was more happy than I could ever imagine, and it was all because of one particular person.

Ron had been avoiding me. I hadn't spoken to him in three days. I know I sound clingy but when you live with someone you can't help but see them so the fact that I hadn't was concerning. That was the reason I was outside Harry and Ron's door right now at seven o'clock at night. I racked my knuckles against the door and a second later it opened. Ron's face appeared. A sharp expression is painted across his face when he sees me.
"Hi." I gave a small smile, wondering what was wrong.
"What do you want?" He snapped at me. Confusion ran through my brain.
"What's wrong?" I frowned. He rolled his eyes and closed the door but before it could shut, I rammed my foot in between. I shoved it back open again.
"What did I do?" I questioned as he tried to get me out of the room.
"Nothing, will you get out?" He asked me, exasperated.
"No." I stated and folded my arms to let him know that I wasn't going anywhere. He sighed.
"Fine, I'll go." He leaned down and grabbed his coat off his bed. I stepped in front of him, preventing him from walking out the room.
"Ron, what did I do wrong?" He glared at me, why was he acting like this? My question was soon answered when he opened his mouth next but I really wish it wasn't.

Ron's POV

I saw her enter the classroom and I couldn't control my face from breaking it into a smile. Her lips pulled up into smile too and I patted the seat next to me.
"I saved you a seat."
"Thanks." Before I could control myself or think what I was doing I leaned forward and pecked he lips. My eyes widened as I realised what I had done. We had only kissed a couple of times but I felt right and normal like we'd always done it. I craved her lips. I searched her face, panicking, how would she react. I saw her scan the room and then notice me and seemed to calm down. A smile spread across her face and I smiled back, slipping my arm around her. Her warm body leaned into me, it fit perfectly like a jigsaw, and my hands found hers, our fingers interlocking. The teacher entered and Hermione sat upright, my body felt cold and lonely without hers, eager to learn yet I couldn't concentrate, I couldn't pull my eyes away from her face. Her beautiful face. She was perfect, the shape of her plump lips, the glisten of life in her eyes, the odd freckle, speckled across her cheeks and nose. I reached up and grabbed her hand again, wanting her touch. Our fingers once again tangled together, I love it. I love everything about her.

I almost skipped out of the lesson but was overcome by a sad emotion when we had to say goodbye. My god I was like a lovesick teenage boy. My thoughts died off when I was slammed into a hard thing.
"Watch it." A voice snapped at me. I looked up to see the one person who could truly wreck my mood. Hatred filled my veins and I clenched my jaw.
"Oh." Kyle said as he noticed it was me. A sly smile spread across his face.
"I heard your dating Granger now." He spoke up and my fists curled. "Her standards have really lowered since me." I slammed my palms into his chest, shoving him back and wiping the grin off his face.
"Get lost Kyle, nobody wants you around anymore." I spat at him. He advanced on me again, wearing a more serious expression.
"You know she wants me around more than you. She's just playing you like a toy. It what she does, she's a slut." As soon as the last word came out of his mouth, I launched into him and we fell to the ground. We both fought for the upper-hand and then found ourselves stood up again. Anger was radiating from me now.
"Wow, someone is definitely jealous." Kyle commented.
"I would never be jealous of you Kyle."
"Yes you would."
"And why would that be then?" And what he said next made me beat him to the ground.

Hermione' POV
"Is it true?" I frowned in confusion once again.
"Did you lose you virginity to Kyle?"
