Poison Ivy

Chapter 3

After walking for 10 minutes, we're finally home. I make sure that Elena is comfortable on the couch before I get the first aid kit. We don't speak until I'm done cleaning her wound and bandaging it.

"Do you think that you'll be able to look after yourself alone?" I ask Elena. I swear she always gets herself in these terrible situations. The amount of scraps that she's gotten over the years still blows my mind.

She tells me that she will be fine and that she'll meet me at the Mystic Grill. I'm reluctant to leave her but I think that some time away from her would do me some good.

At the grill I see Caroline and Bonnie. They're already seated at a booth with Matt. When Elena shows up this will definitely be extremely awkward.

"His name is Stefen Salvatore, he lives with his uncle up at the old boarding house. He hasn't lived her since he was a kid, military family so they moved around a lot. He is a Gemini and his favourite colour is blue." that was a good deal of information from Caroline.

"Wow you got all that from 1 day?" why does Bonnie look so surprised. Caroline could give Sherlock Holmes a run for his money, if she wanted to.

"Please, she probably got that by third period. She could work for like the CIA or be a detective" I say to Bonnie. I assume that we're talking about the new kid that I got a really weird vibe from.

Just by looking at Matt's face, I can confirm it. He doesn't like Stefen because he basically flirted with Elena all through class. I was about to say something when I see Jer and Vicky having a heated conversation.

I don't like her that much but it's Jer's life and 1 broken heart is just 1 step closer to true love. I am a sucker for Wizards of Waverly place. Basically the old Disney is really good. BRING BACK THE CLASSICS .

"Ivy are you even listening right now?" Matt asks with an annoyed expression.

"Says the guy that completely ignored me all day at school. I swear I just tried saying hi. I mean I didn't break up with you. My sister did!" I snap at him. Oops... Well he deserved it, he needs to stop pining over my sister. They were never end game and ever since they broke up he's became so boring.

Before he can say anything Bonnie comes to the rescue. "Her parents just died, she needs time Matt."

I roll my eyes because, of course the conversation deviates back to my sister.

"Well Caroline I definitely see you and Stefen, having a June wedding. Oh can I be the flower girl? I'd look good in a baby blue. What do you think?" Crazy thing is that I can picture Stefen and Caroline getting married. The picture is so clear in my mind. I shake my head because that's crazy. How is it possible to ship two people that quick.

Care's face lights up at the mention of the wedding. That is until she looks over my shoulder and here smile drops into a frown. Matt, Bonnie and I snap to where she's looking and see my sister walk in with none other than the infamous Stefen Salvatore.

Anyone that didn't know my sister would think that the expression on her face is one of happiness but I see right through it. I can see that she's smug. She bagged the new guy and now she is gloating about it.

"She needs time Bonnie?" Matt scoffs at Bonnie. I've had enough with his shit.

"So she's moved on. This is your chance to do the same. Stop pining over someone that clearly doesn't want you anymore. Fuck, you deserve better!" I snap.

"You're a real bitch Ivy!" he says getting up. Before he can leave I say "At least you acknowledged my presence"

Bonnie and Caroline are so uncomfortable and I don't blame them. He leaves as my sister and her new boy toy sit down.
