Chapter 55

"Sister, tell me how handsome I look."

"Ah, Kol you know I can't be compelled."

I walk into the room with all my siblings getting dressed for the ball tonight. "You look handsome little pup." I remark as I fix his bowtie. "Although you need to learn to fix your tie properly." He blushes in response.

Klaus walks in with an amused smirk. "You went after Elena?" my head snaps in the direction of Rebekah. I cross my hands over my chest. "Seriously?"

"God you're all so damn annoying."

Rebekah questions me instead of answering our brother: "Why are you even upset?"

"Because I want to keep the peace." I start to walk out but stop at the threshold. "I'm very disappointed." I whisper as I leave.

Bonnie was a magnificent sight in the dress I picked out for her. I watched as she socialised with the mayor. Meanwhile I stayed out on top of the stairs, out of sight. My entrance was always spectacular. "Well, I see you're all dolled up." Rebekah commented, trying to get me to conversate with her. "Yes, sister I am." I saw her in a green dress. "You looked beautiful, try not to kill anyone tonight please. I'll be in the parlour getting a drink if you want to join."

We walked to the upstairs parlour where the rest of the family congregated. "Well, well, if it isnt the two most important Mikaelson women?" Kol joked with a glassed raised in our honour. "Well, we're the only two Mikaelson women so I'm not sure if thats a compliment." Rebekah responded but stilled clinked her glass with his.

My eyes narrow, something about what he says stirs something in my memory but for the moment I can't place my finger on what it is. "Sister? Finn places his hand on my elbow. "Are you alright?"

"I'm quite fine. Don't worry." I assure him.

Elijah breaks up with moment to inform us that we should head down to the ball. A fucking ball being thrown by us. I shake my head, still not believing the need for Originals to show off the way they do.

I wait till everyone has already descended. The moment Elena walks in I know its my moment to walk down the stairs. The ball attendees already ohhed and aahed when my siblings walked down and were about to do the same as Elena walked in. But wanting to step on her toes I walked down grabbing everyones attention.

Once she noticed there was no attention on her, she huffed and puffed over to the Salvatores brothers. I giggled to myself as I finally reached the bottom of the stairs, where Bonnie was already waiting for me. "Hello angel." I say as I kiss both cheeks in greeting. "You look amazing in yellow. You sure know how to make an entrance."
