Chapter 35

We had all decided to go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, The girls and I got ready in my room. "Anything new going on with you guys?" Asked Hermonie as we were getting dressed, "not really." I responded and both Ginny and Hermonie stopped what they were doing and they just stared at me, "what?" I asked, Ginny went and closed my bedroom door, "Athena, we all know there is a guy." I laughed at what Ginny said, "we see the way you act and you don't act that way unless you're with someone." said Hermonie, I couldn't let them find out about Draco and I. "Nonsense, I'm just really happy that's all and with everything that's been going on I need to focus on myself." I said while applying some makeup. "If you say so," said Ginny while exiting my room, I really wanted to tell Hermonie about Draco but I knew I couldn't, knowing her she would tell the guys and then they would never forgive me. "Ready?" I asked, getting my bag and leaving to go to the shop. We entered the shop and there were a lot of people, the girls and I decided to look around as we stopped to look at an item the twins approached us,"hello ladies. Love potions, eh. They really do work, but then again we heard you sis. You're just doing fine on your own." As they said that I looked up at them and I wondered if they knew about Draco. "Meaning?" asked Ginny, "Aren't you currently dating Dean Thomas." As they asked, I noticed that Harry was behind the twins and he looked sad at the mention of Ginny and Dean. Ginny left and it was only Hermonie and I still looking at the love potions but I noticed she looked uncomfortable and she put the love potion down. "Hermione, what's wrong?" I asked, she didn't say anything but she kept looking at her side, I turned around and saw this guy looking at her. I took her hand and pulled her away to go with Harry, we saw Ron at the top of the stairs talking to the twins, "Lets go." We were exiting the shop and then we heard a girl call out for Ron, "Hey Ron." I turned around and I noticed that Ron was being all soft, "Hi." When we exited the shop it was dark and all the shops were closed and ruined, we decided to enter an empty shop, I was just walking around with Hermonie and looking at things when Ron mentioned something about Draco. "Harry. Is it me or does Draco and mummy look like people who don't want to be followed." As he mentioned that Hermonie and I joined the guys to look outside the window and there he was with Narcissa, I felt someone grab my hand and I looked to see that it was Hermonie. "Athena. Are you okay?" "I-I, I'm fine. It's just I don't know how to feel about seeing Draco." I said trying to make myself sound all sad. The guys decided it was a good idea to follow Draco and Narcissa, we were following them and they entered this shop, we saw a light turn on and we saw it coming from the other side of the shop. We decided to climb up the roof and I saw that Draco was touching this cabinet, Harry wanted to see more because he was trying to climb up the roof more but we saw someone come by the window and that's when Harry made a noise, we all got down and hid, as we went back to go see someone had already closed the curtains. I jumped off the roof and I knew this was a bad idea, how was I supposed to tell Draco that the guys saw him and that they thought he looked suspicious. I decided to leave them behind and walk as fast as I could, I couldn't be with them anymore. "Athena! Wait up," yelled Ron but I kept walking, he caught up to me and grabbed my arm. "What's wrong with you?" I pushed him away, "Really? Since when do you guys decide it's fine to follow people? It's none of your business!" I said and kept walking but I stopped when I heard Harry yell something. "Yes it is." I turned around and walked to where Harry was, I started to point my finger at him, "You don't know anything, Harry. Leave it alone." They were all looking at me as if I was crazy, I turned around and started to head home. "Athena, you can't walk alone. Especially with everything going on. Let us walk with you, please." Said Hermonie catching up and walking to my side, Hermonie and I have gotten closer and I see her as a sister, I have Ginny but her and I aren't that close, but I know that everything will change with our friendship when they find out what I have been up to. We finally got home and I ran up to my room, "Athena, what's wrong?" yelled mum, Ron was about to tell her what had happened but I stopped him, "Stop it, for once in your life leave me alone. EVERYONE." I said and went up to my room, I slammed the door and I fell in my bed crying. I didn't know what to do anymore, I love Draco but my family. It was indeed my idea to ruin my family and I couldn't give up. I have to prove everyone that I'm worthy and that I will become someone.

I must have cried myself into a nap because I was woken up by someone knocking on my door, "come in." I said getting up and taking a seat, Ron entered my room and took a seat on my bed. "I know you said you wanted to be alone but I wanted to check up on you." he said, I took his hands in mine. "Ron, I may have overreacted but you know how Draco meant a lot to me and seeing you guys do that.. Well I didn't like it and I didn't want to say anything since you know how, Harry is..." He pulled me into a hug and I started to cry, once again. "Hey hey, don't cry. You can tell me anything." he said, rubbing my back, I pulled back. "Yeah.. I know that. Thanks for being the best brother and my best friend." We just stayed in my room the whole night and talked, and I decided to tease him about the girl we saw at the shop. "Hey Ron." I said trying to sound like the girl, "Bloody hell, stop it." he said while hitting my arm. "She really fancies you." I said looking at him, he was about to say something but then mum came in, "off to bed, both of you. You guys start school tomorrow and we have to wake up early." Ron got up and left, "good night Ron!" I yelled. "Good night Athena." Before I went to bed, I packed my books and the necklace that Draco had given me. I looked at the picture one more time before closing my bag and turning the lights off.
