Chapter 38

We didn't have school today, Draco and I decided to stay in my room and I also had to go find Ron and talk to him about what happened yesterday. "Good morning love," Draco said and then kissed the top of my head. "Good morning." I got up and decided to get ready, "where are you going? We don't have school." He said as he sat up. "I'm going to go see Ron and besides you're not supposed to be here. Since we're only friends." I said walking to my bed, taking a seat. He came and sat next to me and took my hands. "Yes. I know, you ha-" I cut him off and I got up and walked to my door and opened it. "Go along. If we want our plan to work we have to be discreet about us being together, they only know we're friends so we're fine talking but no touching." I pointed at the door, he got up and he was about to kiss me but I pushed him, "Draco! What did I just say?" I said dragging him out of my room, "fine! I'll see you when you come back." Once he left, I finished getting ready and once I was ready I left my room and went to the Gryffindor commons room, I knocked on the door but no one would answer me so I mumbled the password, I remembered the password from when the guys sneaked me in. I got in and I was trying to find Ron but I couldn't see him, I was about to leave when I bumped into someone, "Bloody hell!" I had said as I turned around and I saw Hermonie standing there watching me. "Athena? What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here!" she said grabbing my hand and dragging me outside the commons room. "I came to find Ron but he's nowhere to be seen! Have you seen him?" I asked as we were outside the commons room. "He went to Hogsmeade with Harry, he said he wanted to clear out his head about something that happened with you." I looked at her and she was giving me a concerned look, "nothing happened, I just had a panic attack and they went to go get Draco." She took my hand and turned me around to face her, "Athena, I know how much you love him but you know you can't be with him. Especially with everything going on with Harry." "We're not together, we were friends." As I said, "were?" she asked, "yeah, we got into a fight but it's all fine!" she gave me a warm smile, "breakfast?" she asked, we walked to the Great hall and went to go eat some breakfast and talk. Draco and I met in the astronomy tower, "We're not friends anymore, I told her we're in a fight! This will work for our plan." I told Draco and I sat next to him on the blanket that I brought and placed on the floor. "That's good! Not really, I won't be able to talk to you anymore but if it will help us then yes." I lay down and I started to stare at the ceiling, "what are you thinking about, love?" He laid down next to me and turned around to stare at me, "I was thinking we should throw a party! With everyone, not just us." I turned and faced him, "what do you mean, not just us?" I turned to my body to face him, "well everyone! All the houses, it will be fun!" As I said that he didn't look convinced so I got on top of him and started kissing him. "pleaseeee! please! It will be nice to do something with everything going on." I said kissing him all over his face. He pulled his hands up and put them on my cheeks, "I mean, it's not a bad idea." "thank you, thank you!" I said and then kissed his hand, he turned me around and laid me down in the blanket and he was on top of me, we stayed like that for a while, when we heard someone walking. He got off me and went to go check who it was, as he went to go check who it was I ran and hide. "Is Athena here?" I heard a girl say, I couldn't hear who it was, so I walked a bit closer to him and heard who it was and it was Elvira, I whispered to Draco and told him to say no. "She's not here, she and I aren't on good terms right now." She was about to say something but Draco pointed to the stairs, "leave." he said and with that, she left, "aren't you guys friends?" he asked, walking back to the blanket, I followed him and laid down next to him, "I don't know. After what she said to me, I don't want to talk to her." He pulled me in closer and kissed the top of my head, "you don't need her, you have me." I smiled at his words and then we were just talking about how we're going to be working and how I need to get information out of Ron about what they are planning to do. "Draco." I decided to tell him that I saw him with Narcissa and how I wasn't alone. "yes?" He looked at me concerned, "the guys and I saw you with your mum over the summer and we saw that you entered this shop and you were looking at a cabinet. What was it?" I looked at him straight in the eyes. "What did you guys see?" He looked scared. I reached out to grab his hands but he pulled away and stared at me. "Draco?" I said, "tell me now." He said rudely, "what's up with you? You have no right to talk to me like that!" I got up and I was about to walk away but he came after me and reached out to grab my hand. "Look, Athena. I'm sorry!" he said but I pushed his hand away and turned around to face him, "Draco, you can tell me anything, we're in this together. Always." He turned around and started to walk away from me, he went to go look at the view and he didn't say anything, so I approached him and stood next to him. "I'm sorry, it's none of my business, and I shou-." I got cut off by him, "there's something I have to tell you." He took a pause and I was starting to get scared, I got closer to him and I hugged him, as I pulled away I saw a tear fall."I-I. I'm one of them, a d-death eater." As he said that my heart shattered, I didn't say anything. "Please say something." I took his hand, "Draco I-I love you no matter what." He gave me a weak smile and I wiped away his tears. "My task is to work with the cabinet and let some of them come in. And I-I have to kill Dumbledore." I hugged him once again, "Draco. I know you don't want to do this and neither do I. But no matter what you do, I will be with you and respect your decision."
