Chapter 16

We entered the Great Hall and as were entering I noticed that Ron looked annoyed and he was looking at Viktor and Hermione. To be honest I would be mad to see someone I like with someone else but it was his fault for not asking her. I turned to my right and saw Draco looking at Harry and me, annoyed. What was his problem? He never likes me being with Harry, Elio, or even my brother! I decided to ignore him and have an amazing night. Professor Flitwick started to conduct the kids, Harry wouldn't hold my waist. "Harry, take my waist." He was confused but I grabbed his hands and put them around my waist. We started to dance and more people started to join the dance floor. I saw Hermonie and Viktor dancing, to be honest, I'm a little bit sad that she's not dancing with Ron. Then I spotted Ginny dancing with Neville, How cute! Time passed and we were all having such an amazing time, we have been dancing all night, so decided to go sit down. We noticed that Ron was sad and he kept looking at Hermione. "Ron, staring won't help!" As I said that Hermonie came up to us. "Hot, Isn't it?" I smiled at her. "Viktor's gone to go and get us drinks. Would you care to join us?" I took Harry's hand and I was about to say yes when Ron decided to speak up. "No, we'd not care to join you and Viktor." Hermonie looked sad when Ron told her that. " What's got your wand in a knot?" she said as I looked up at Harry, not knowing if we should stay or leave. "He's a Durmstrang. You're fraternizing with the enemy." "The enemy?" I felt bad but Hermonie and I wanted to yell at Ron but I knew it was not my place to say anything. They kept arguing and I had enough, I saw Hermonie leave and she was broken. "RONALD! Why would you say that to her? She's your best friend and you should be happy for her. If you didn't want to see her with Viktor, you should have asked her, instead of being such a jerk!" I got up from my seat and took Harry's hand. We left the Great Hall and decided to walk around.

We sat at a bench, we were talking when I noticed how beautiful the sky was. "Harry! Look how beautiful the sky is." We were looking at the sky for a min when I felt hands around my waist. I looked down and saw they were Harry's, he pulled me closer to him, he pulled my chin up. We were looking at each other's eyes and I had never noticed how attractive Harry was. I knew it was wrong for me to think that but I couldn't help myself. We started to lean closer when someone coughs. I was scared and turned around, I was happy it wasn't any of my brothers but I was disappointed to see Malfoy. "You've got to be kidding me." I grabbed Harry's hands and we walked back to the great hall. I was embarrassed."I'm really sorry about that. I don't know where he came from!" "Athena, no need to worry. uh.. can we just keep this between me and you?" "definitely. We can't tell Ron!" As we were talking I noticed Hermione and Ron fighting. "Harry, Athena," said Ron. "Where have you been?" Said Hermonie yelling at us. "uh." We both got cut off by Hermonie. "Nevermind, off to bed, both of you." She said looking at Harry and Ron. They both were leaving when Ron decided to say "They get scary when they get older." " Ron, you spoiled everything!" I felt bad for Hermonie. She and I were never close but these past few weeks, we have been getting closer and I consider her as a friend. "Hermione. I'm so sorry, Ron can be a jerk! He never knows what to say!" She was basically crying, I have never seen her cry, especially for a boy. We decided to just stay there, I was trying to comfort her. I walked her back to her common room. I hugged her and waited for her to enter the Gryffindor's common room, "Thanks Athena, It really means a lot to have a good friend like you."
