His Dark Princess

Chapter 45

It had already been a couple of days since I got the dark mark and I was feeling a bit better, Draco and his parents were kind enough to let me stay with them for the rest of the break.

 One day, I was at the library looking for some books, when Draco entered and he had a panicked look on his face, "Draco?" I asked and he just came up to me and took my hand, "Athena. I- Something happened to the burrow." He said worriedly, "what do you mean the burrow?" I scaredly asked, he dragged me to the sofa that was there and we sat down. "Some death eaters attacked your burrow while your family was there" he spitted out, "WHAT OMG DRACO! This was a mistake from the beginning." 

I got up starting to walk to the door but Draco ran up to me and grabbed my hand and dragged me back to the sofa, "Athena! You can't take this back, he will kill you, he will kill us!" And he was right, I can't go back, I was already one of them and I have to agree with everything they do. "Right sorry, how are they? My family." I asked, "they are fine, but your house is ruined. Some death eaters knew that Potter was there." He said and took me back to the sofa. "Of course! Why else would they ruin my home, it always has to be my family because of Potter!" I said frustrated, 

"We have school tomorrow! We can have Potter pay," he said and I nodded, we walked back to our room and started to pack some of our things. "I have to go back home and get my things!" I told Draco, "no, let me go talk to my parents." He said and left the room, as I was waiting for him to come back, I opened his dresser to get some of my clothes when I found a notebook. I opened it and decided to have a look at it:

Athena Weasley.

The love of my life. She told me she loved me on the train, I didn't know how to react. No one has ever told me they loved me when she realized what she said to me, she started to panic and I know that was the first time she truly loved me but I fell in love with her the first day I saw her. I said I hated her but deep down I loved her, I said I hated her because she's a Weasley and was always with Potter.

I wasn't able to finish because I heard the door open and I put the notebook away and ran to the bed. "Mum said she's going to take you shopping," Draco told me as he walked in, I ran up to him and kissed him. I have always loved him since the first day I saw him but I always thought he hated me and I knew we could never be together. "What's that for?" He asked as I pulled away, " just because I love you." I said, he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him, "and I love you too." He said kissing me again, I never knew he felt this way about me but he didn't have to know that I read his journal and that I loved him the first day I saw him. I heard someone knock on the door and Draco went to open it, "ready?" Narcissa asked as she entered the room, "yeah!" I said and we walked out.

 We went to Diagon Alley and got all the things that I had at home, "how are you feeling, dear?" Narcissa asked as we sat down, we decided to get some rest and talk about everything. "I'm fine, I do miss my family but I know I have to forget them eventually. They will definitely try and forget about me once they find out the truth," I sighed. "They will find a way to forgive you." She reassured me, I gave her a weak smile, "I hope they do, especially Ron. He never accepted the fact that I was with Draco." I said. We kept talking and finished shopping, once we were done, we went back to the house. "Thank you!" I told Narcissa as I went up to the stair, 

I went to Draco's room and finished packing my things. "How was it?" Draco asked as I packed, "it was lovely, I had an amazing time with your mum!" I said.

School had finally started again and people were talking about what happened at the burrow, "Athena! How are you? I heard the news." Astoria said as she entered the commons room, "I'm fine, thank you!" I said, she came and gave me a hug. "Astoria, can you do me a favor?" I asked, "sure!" she said, giving me a smile, "well I didn't spend winter break with my family and I told them I was going to spend it with a friend, which I didn't. I stayed with Draco and I was wondering if you can back me up by saying I stayed with you!" I said and she nodded. She left the room and with that Elvira came running into the commons room and approached me, "Athena!" I got up and started to walk away, "it's Ron!" She said making me stop, I turned around and it looked as if she was telling the truth. "He's in the hospital wing!"

 I dropped the book that I was reading and ran out, I got to the hospital wing and I saw Hermonie, Harry, Ginny, Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagall were there. "Athena!" Hermonie yells as she sees me enter, "what happened?" I asked and Harry told me he was poisoned, "poisoned?" I questioned and Harry just nodded and gave me a questioning look, I ignored him and decided to listen to the conversation the professors were having but then I heard Lavender. "Where is he? Where's my Won-Won? Has he been asking for me?" She asked out of breath, both Ginny and I looked at Hermione and she just turned around and faced Ron, but then Lavender noticed that Hermonie was there, "What's she doing here?" Lavender asked and Hermonie got up from her seat, "I may ask you the same question." Hermonie said, "I happened to be his girlfriend!" Lavender said almost throwing herself at Hermione, 

"I happened to be his...friend." Hermonie had trouble completing her sentence, "Don't make me laugh, you haven't spoken in weeks. I suppose you want to make up with him, now that he's suddenly all interesting." Lavender said and they were at it, the professors, Ginny, Harry and I were just there listening to it all and it was interesting, seeing that girls are fighting for Ron. "He's been poisoned, you daft dimbo! And for the record, I've always found him interested." Hermonie said and as she said that Ron starts to move, "Ah! See? He senses my presence." Lavender says and starts to lean in and continues, "Don't worry, Won-Won! I'm here. I'm here." As Lavender said that, Ron starts to say something. "Uh... Hermione.. her..my..nee. Hermione.." Hermonie takes Ron's hand and then Lavender notices and leaves crying.

 As she left there was an awkward silence, until Dumbledore spoke, "oh, to be young and to feel love's keen sting. Well, come away everyone.. Mr. Weasley is well tended." And all the professors leave, as Ginny is getting up, she says something to Harry and I. "About time, too. Don't you think?" I nodded and she left, Madam Pomfey came and put something on Ron's bedside table, "thank you." says Harry, and then both Harry and I turn and give Hermonie a look, "Oh, shut up." Hermonie says as she noticed and then I was walking out when Harry grabbed my hand and pulled me into an empty hallway. 

"What are you doing?" I asked as he pulled my hand away, "you knew didn't you?" He asked and I looked at him confused, "don't pretend like you don't know, about Katie getting cursed and now the burrow burning." "WHAT?!NO, I didn't know, you think I would do that to my own family?" I said, getting angry, "I'm not sure anymore since you're with Draco now." Of course he was going to bring him up, "You don't know anything, potter." I was about to turn away but something that I would regret for the rest of my life came out of my mouth, "this all happened because of you. You're just jealous I have a happy life and I have someone to love. Now all these problems with the Dark Lord have come up because of YOU, you are the problem, NOT ME" I turned away starting to walk but he grabbed my arm but i took it out of his reach and told him, "you don't want to mess with me potter, you don't know me anymore." 

I wasn't sure if he was my dark mark because, when I was walking away I turned around one more time and he was looking at my arm.
