Chapter 6

 I finally calmed down and I noticed the beautiful white snow in the ground of the courtyard. As I entered class, I saw Hermonie standing and waving at me. I decided to go and talk to her. Hermonie and I were never that close but she was always at the burrow and I knew she fancies Ron. As we were talking, I felt some eyes looking at me, and I expected it to be Draco, but it was only Elio. I decided to ignore him, since why would he want to be friends again after almost four years?! Mr. Slughorn started to teach when I noticed Harry and Ron entering the classroom. I was surprised to see Ron since he wasn't in this class. Of course, Harry being the favorite, Slughorn said, "Ah! Harry, my boy. I was beginning to worry. You brought someone with us, I see." "Ron Weasly, sir," and I noticed this girl to my right named Lavender get all excited when Ron talked. I thought to myself, how would someone fancy Ron? All he loves is his food. Ron was trying to make excuses to leave class, but Harry didn't let him go and Mr. Slughorn said, "Nonsense! Well, sort you out. Any of Harry's is a friend of mine." Mr.Slughorn Asked the class if we knew what the concoctions he had made were, and of course, Hermonie raised her hand, like always. As he continued the lesson I noticed Ron and Harry fighting for a stupid book, typical. Hermonie went up and said what the concoctions were. There were truth-telling serum and amortentia, which is the most powerful love potion in the world, and it's supposed to smell differently to each person, based on what attracts them. "For example, I smell freshly mown grass and parchment and spearmint toothpaste." Hermonie had said and walked back to where I was, she turned around and saw me, smirking. A girl asked Mr.Slughorn what the other concoctions were and he told us that it was Felix Felicius, and it's liquid luck. As he was explaining what It was I was looking around and I noticed both Harry and Draco being so interested in it. Mr.Slughorn told us "so this is what I offer each of you today. A vial of liquid luck to the student who in the hour that remains manages to brew an acceptable draught of living death. The recipes for which can be found on page 10 of your books, I should point out however only once did a student manage to brew a potion of sufficient quality to claim his prize. Nevertheless, good luck to you all, let the brewing commence." Hermonie, Ron, Harry, and I walked to a table and started to work on the potion. I opened my book and went to page 10, I started the potion but I got stuck, midway. I noticed that everyone was struggling but Harry, So many things were happening at once! everything was going wrong but I kept noticing that Harry wasn't struggling at all!? Mr.Slughorn came to our table and was checking Harry's. And Harry did an amazing job so he won the Felix Felicius. I looked at Draco and he was annoyed like the rest of the Slytherins, they were all in a corner but I was the only Slytherin who wasn't with them.
