Chapter 11

As I was walking to go get breakfast, I decided that I should go ask Hermonie if Ron had asked her yet. I was on my way when Ron grabbed me by my arm. "Ron! Omg, what do you want? I need to go find Hermonie." "Are you kidding me, Athena.? Bloody hell, why are you going to the Yule ball with my best friend!" I thought Ron wouldn't care, In fact, I thought he would be happy that I'm going with someone that we know and not another dude. "What? I thought you would be happy that I was going with Harry and not another guy you don't like!" I said. He got red and just said "I mean, you are right. I'm sorry, I just don't like seeing the fact that my twin sister and my best friend are together." I was surprised he thought Harry and I were together, he's like a brother to me. I'm not going to lie and say I don't find him attractive but I can't see myself with Harry. "Harry and I are not together! We're just going as friends and I'm happy he asked me because I was starting to think no one was going to ask me and that I was going to go alone. You have nothing to worry about, Ronald." As I said his full name I was walking away because I knew he didn't like me calling him that. "Athena, don't call me that!"

As I entered the great hall, I saw Hermonie sitting by Harry, Neville, and Ginny. "Hey, guys! Hermonie can I talk to you?" As they saw me Neville looked a bit scared to see me, Neville and I were never close but he was a sweet guy. Harry staring at me and when he noticed that I saw him staring we blushed. Weird! And Ginny, being my sister she said "Athena! I haven't seen you, you don't talk to us, anyone! Don't tell me, you have replaced us and now you're going to be like them." I saw her pointing at the Slytherin table. I decided to ignore her and pull Hermonie to the side. "so.. has Ron asked you? I'm going with Harry and it would be nice that we all go together, like old times!" I said as I said that she looked down at her feet and said "No. Ron hasn't asked me, So I said yes to Viktor" I was sad, I was really looking forward to going altogether and seeing Hermonie and Ron together. "Oh Hermione, I'm so sorry. It's his loss, don't worry! You will still have fun with Viktor"

I was entering potions class when I felt two people looking at me, Draco and Harry. I was walking over to Hermonie, Ron, and Harry when Draco said "Hey! Athena, why don't you come over here and hang with us! Not with those blood traitors" I saw that the rest of his friends were shocked that he had even talked to me and I knew I shouldn't leave my friends but Draco Malfoy finally asked me to be part of his Slytherins. I couldn't look at my friends so I quickly walked over to Draco and his friends, I noticed Ron was disappointed, Harry was sad and I looked at Hermione but she gave me a dirty look and said something to the guys. I didn't care because I was finally being accepted and Draco let me be with them, pansy came over to me and said "You aren't welcome here. Draco just said that to get your brother and little boyfriend jealous." Her words hurt me, I couldn't leave and go with my friends, I knew they were mad at me. I decided to ignore her and continue class, I noticed that Ron kept looking at me and he called me over, and as I was about to leave my seat. Draco held my hand and asked me "You're coming back right?" I blushed and looked at his beautiful green eyes, and wow he was perfect- What ew no stop, I thought. "Oh yeah! It's just Ron. He's calling me." I was on my way to the table when I heard pansy say "Are you being for real? Why would you let her sit with us Draco?" "It's Malfoy to you and she's also a Slytherin, I don't see why she can't sit with us." As he said that I smiled and sat next to Ron. "Athena! I can't believe you left us and went with them. I always knew you would do this!" I couldn't believe Ron said that to me, he knew that no one liked me because of my bloodline and house. "I can't believe you, Ron, you are my brother. You know I was never accepted because I'M THE ONLY WEASLEY WHO'S A SLYTHERIN." I was crying and everyone was looking at me, Harry came up to me but I pushed him away and I kept screaming at Ron, "You're my BROTHER Ron, I can't believe you. You know how much I've struggled to be accepted and now that I am, WHY can't you be happy for me!?" He was about to talk but I walked away and went back to my table, I grabbed my bag. As I was about to get it, Draco grabbed my hand and said "Athena! i- I'm really sorry. I never knew that's how you felt." I looked at him and left. I was so pissed. How could my own flesh and blood, my own TWIN for merlin's sake! And he DARE tell me that, in front of everyone! I was done, I was SO done with everyone's shit about me not being a proper Slytherin or a proper Weasley. I was going to be my own person and I wasn't going to give a flying broomstick about who didn't like it.
