Chapter 17

The next day, I woke up early. I couldn't go back to sleep, so I decided to go downstairs and read a book. I sat down on the couch by the fireplace, as I was reading my book when I noticed someone sit next to me. I looked up and it was Draco, "what do you want Malfoy?" "I never knew you and Potter were dating?" I got up and stood by the fireplace "We're not! he's just a friend" "Are you sure? From what I saw last night, it looked more like you guys we're together." "No, we weren't doing anything! Besides, it's not any of your concern." He got up and came closer to me, "You know Athena, I can go tell your bloody brother, that you and his best friend were going to kiss." I pushed him away, "You wouldn't!" he laughed at me. "You think I won't tell him that his sluty sister and his best friend weren't gonna kiss?" slut. He called me a slut, I came closer to him and slapped him, right across his face, he fell on the couch. "don't EVER call me a slut." He got up, grabbed my throat, and pinned me to the wall. "Never lay a hand on me. You filthy little mudblood" I was terrified, to say the least, but I couldn't yell because of the pressure he was putting on my throat. "If you ever come near me, I will end you and your bloody friends." He finally let me go and I fell to the ground. I got up and ran. I ended up in front of the Gryffindor common room. I knocked and Harry opened the door. "Athena, Are you okay? Come in" I was balling my eyes out and I fell in his arms. No one has ever hurt me this much. "GUYS! somebody help me!" Harry yelled and I heard footsteps. "Omg Athena!" "Bloody hell, Athena! Who did this to you?" I heard Ron and Hermione call out for me. I finally stopped crying and we were sitting down on the couch, they didn't make me talk until I was ready. "It was Malfoy," I said, they all looked up at me. "WHAT?" Said Ron, he got up and was about to leave but I stopped him "No Ron, please. He's going to hurt you! He said if any of us came near him, he's going to end us. Please, Ron. DONT!" He walked back to us and hugged me. "Athena, I'm so sorry. I have to protect you, I'm your brother and I failed." "No. it was my fault. I uh.. slapped him." As I said that they all looked at me "Bloody hell" "Brilliant " "Athena, you did what!?" They all said at the same time. I told them everything that happened, well not everything. I lied about me and Harry almost kissing, I had said it was another guy. Harry looked a bit disappointed that I didn't tell them it was him but he was the only one who told me not to tell anyone.
