It was a week until the amnesiac had recovered enough to work, he had a few remnants of bruises on his face and chest, his shoulder was stiff but otherwise okay and his wound was scaring over.

Being led in a patients bed for that long has been incredibly boring, Alaunus would bring him food and treat his wounds. The physician had been surprised when the boy started reading one of his books, not many servants can read, and none as well as this raven. When asked about it, the boy couldn't provide any answers, he had no idea where he learnt to read.

It upset the amnesiac, that he had no memory of anything, but perhaps what upset him more is that no one had come to claim him, how unlovable must he have been to not have a single person be looking for him?

Alec had come visit the lad two or three times, checking to see how he was feeling and if he remembered anything, which of course he didn't. The Knight had informed the boy that he had found him work as a servant in the castle, and would be provided the living quarters that came with the job. That was what he was doing now: packing up the books Alaunus had gifted him and the clothes Alec had brought to him. As he finished gathering the small amount of belongings he had, the boy walked over to the physician's desk,

"Thank you Alaunus,"

"Of course, don't be a stranger in your new job, my door is always open." The Physician returned.

He had become quite fond of the kind hearted boy who lived in his office these past week. He would be lying if he said that he didn't feel guilty for hiding the truth as to why the raven really ended up here but alas the King had sworn the five knights, the Queen and himself to secrecy on the matter.

The amnesiac nodded before leaving and heading to his new quarters.

The Malkos palace was a grand place, located on a cliff top overlooking the beach of Beleza, it's ocean a crystal blue and the golden sands unparalleled. The castle itself was made of a yellowing stone, much grander and larger than any other Kingdom's castles. Images and sculptures of a griffins could be seen in most hallways and rooms as it was the crest which the Knights of Malkos wore.

As the boy walked down the corridors, remembering the directions he had received from a guard, he came across a small dark oak door, pushing it open it revealed a small shoebox room with a small bed, desk, and cupboard. It wasn't much but the amnesiac had nothing to compare it against, so he walked inside, unpacked his items and decided to turn in for the night.

The Raven dreamt he was surrounded by figures dressed in red, they were faceless, their features blurred and their voices distorted as they spoke. They seemed to be laughing and joking, slapping the each other's shoulder jovially. It wasn't a nightmare as such but it was slightly unnerving for the boy to watch.

The amnesiac woke up naturally with the sun beaming through the small window in his room, getting out of bed he rotated his arm trying to loosen it as it still ached from when it had been dislocated. Taking off his shirt the boy rubbed the salve Alaunus had given him on his chest where the bruises still remained, he winced slightly at the pain and coldness of the salve. The Raven then proceeded to put on his new clothes: a royal blue tunic and black trousers, the boy held his hand to his neck, it felt bare, like it was missing something but he couldn't for the life of him remember what. Shrugging off this feeling he made his way to the kitchen to meet another servant in order receive his duties.
