I'd used floo powder to get back to Hogwarts, stumbling into the Gryffindor foyer. My entrance woke up Harry, Ron and Hermione who had fallen asleep on the couch. They all looked up at me with worried faces. Hermione got up and walked towards me, grabbing my wrists so she could scan my face.

- "How was it?" she asked, softly.

I didn't reply, I was still in shock.

- "Are you okay?" she added, even more worried.

Harry and Ron got closer as well.

- "Y/N are you hurt?" Harry questioned.

- "What did they fucking do to you?" Ron blurted out.

I snapped out of my trance, and looked at them bluntly.

- "Oh... hum. Oh. I..." I stuttered, "I'm... fine. I just need some sleep."

I let my wrists fall off Hermione's hands and tried to make my way to door, ignoring their questions.

- "Y/N, wait!" Harry called.

- "You can talk to us." Hermione told me.

Harry ran after me just before I reached the door and grabbed my shoulder, turning me around so that I faced him.

- "Y/N, tell us. You have to tell u-"

- "I said I'm fine." I interrupted him, instantly regretting my harsh tone, "I'll tell you guys everything tomorrow, I promise." I let out a sigh, "I just want to go to bed."

Harry nodded, still looking worried to death and let me go.

It was 4 am, and I hadn't gotten any sleep. I wasn't surprised, I was a mess. An anxious, frightened, and confused mess.

Back at the Malfoy Manor, I had woken up, startled. I didn't know what had just happened, seeing all those things, all those informations.

- "You fainted." Draco had explained.

He was avoiding my eyes. I had understood immediately that what I had seen was his memories. I didn't know what do to, what to say. He had helped me getting up on my feet.

- "I should probably go." I had said, feeling stupid.

He had nodded, and I had apologised to his parents for leaving early, pretending to suffer from a headache. He had walked me to the nearest mantelpiece, and handed me a pinch of floo powder without a word.

I should have said something. I should have. But instead I had left in the flames, ironically feeling frozen.

And here I was now, laying in my bed. Thoughts bouncing up and down in my mind, making my head spin. Why had I seen Draco's memories? How was I able to do this? Could I do it again? My brain was playing the scene over and over again. We were about to kiss... ugh. I was persuaded that it had happened because of me, not him. The contact of my bare skin against his had triggered it.

I tried to avoid thinking about what I had seen in his memories. But I couldn't help it, even if it was hurting like hell. The word 'death-eater' was resonating in my head; I couldn't believe that Lucius Malfoy would expect his son to become this sort of man. Draco wasn't even sixteen that his future was already doomed. Yet, he was a good person, I was sure of it. He had tried to protect me in front of of his father, lying for me. But...

Had his dad read his memories the way I had?
