- "DRACO LUCIUS MALFOY" I yelled, entering the common room where I knew he was.

How could I have trusted him? I could I possibly have thought he was going to keep my secret safe? The guy is the bloody Slytherin Prince for Merlin's sake. I should have known.

And yet, that letter took me by surprise and completely broke me... We were friends, close friends. At least that's what he had me believe. How could I have been so blind? Ugh... I blinked the tears away from my eyes, walking towards him. At the sight of his smirking, idiotic face, the shock and sorrow were immediately replaced by rage.

Yes I had trusted him, but now he was going to pay.

I grabbed him by the arm, and pulled him through the door, away from the common room, until we reached an empty classroom where I knew we wouldn't be heard. By the time we got to the classroom his smirk was completely gone and he was asking what is wrong and why I seem upset. The twat was pretending he didn't know why I was in this state. Ignoring all of his questions, I closed the door behind us and faced him.

- "Cut the crap Malfoy, I know." I said, my infuriated eyes fixed on him.

- "What?" he dared, looking dumbfounded.

- "I warned you, if you told my secret I would kill you..." I threatened, getting my wand out of my pocket and walking towards him.

He looked panicked and surprised and lifted his palms in front of him to prevent me from cursing him.

- "Y/N..." he started, freaking out "I didn't say anything, I swear."

- "Wow, you really are a great actor. I'm impressed." I sarcastically replied.

I kept walking forward while he was stepping back until he reached the wall. He looked afraid of me.

- "I though we were friends, Malfoy. But apparently not. Congrats, I hope you had a good laugh."

- "We ARE friends!" he raised his voice.

- "Then why did you reveal my identity!" I accused, even louder than him.

- "I didn't!" he yells.

- "THEN HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS?" I waved the letter in front of him, tears running down my cheeks.

He instantly calmed down, and took the letter from me. I could not guess what he was thinking. A deep frown settled on his face. After a long intense minute, he finally looked up. His eyes locked into mine, which sent shivers down my spine. But I couldn't trust his words, my mind needed to be clear.

- "Y/N..." Draco softly began.

- "Don't. Don't try to explain and make amends with me."

- "But I..."

- "I said don't!" I exclaimed.

- "Y/N listen to me."

He grabbed both of me wrists, forcing me to face him. With what little pride was left in me, I still turned my head away from his.

- "I didn"t know anything about this." he continued "My father... I don't know how he figured out who you are. I only mentioned you to him once, and I only wrote your first name. Yes he fond out, but it wasn't my fault. You said we were friends, it's true. I would never do this to you. I promise."

I turned my head back to him and locking my eyes with his again. The world stopped turning for an instant. We got lost in each other's gaze.

- "How could I trust you?" I whispered.

- "You're right... you can't" he said after a while. "But I care about you. Y/N, I fucking need you for Merlin's sake... And you... you will definitely need me at that dinner."

With all that worrying about my secret going loose, I hadn't even thought about what that dinner party involved. But now that Draco had mentioned it, I was starting to worry about it.

- "What I told you when I said we should be friends is true: we can help each other. Actually no, we have to... Y/N you known I'm right on this one."

I stayed silent, he went on.

- "Look, I don't how you can trust me again. And I'm not asking you to. I'm just asking you to try... I don't want to lose you Y/N..."

Neither one of us said anything for a few moments. I knew I was going to give in, I didn't want to lose him either. And I could tell he was being sincere, although I couldn't explain why. I had this presentiment, this gut feeling telling me he was speaking the truth. So I put my most charming and mocking grin on my lips and decided to be friends again.

- "Holly shit, Draco Malfoy, do you have a crush on me?" I teased.

- "You wish..." he laughed, relieved.

- "Y/N... I don't want to lose you... I love you Y/N" I mimicked.

- "Ugh, shut up."

- "AH! I was right, you do love me!"

- "No..." he replied with a small guilty smile, "I just can't afford to insult you right now."

- "Does this mean I can use your guilt to make you do whatever I want for me?"

- "In your dreams, Y/N."

- "Well there you go, now I'm mad at you." I complained, pouting.

- "Don't pout like that, you look like Pansy."

- "And you love it, Drackypoo."

We both laughed, but something was still bothering the both of us.

- "How do you thinks your father know about me?" I asked, gently.

- "We'll have to find out, I guess." he replied.

Here you go for part 2! I'm sorry this is a smaller chapter, but I couldn't fit both parts into one.

Still, I'm quite glad to post this right before Christmas, because I'm not sure I'll have the time to write in the following days.

I hope your Christmas holidays are doing well! And I rally hope you're enjoying the story.

I'd love some feedback or just some funny comments, I know I always like to read those on other people's fictions.

Have a wonderful Christmas and thank you all for reading that far already :)
