IT'S PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO HATE Christmas. If you do, Millie physically can not be friends with you because it's a massive red flag! Of course, if you just don't celebrate Christmas that's a different story, but hating it? That's not okay! What's happened to make you hate the best day of the year?

Usually, Millie spends the day with her mams, sometimes her nans visit as well but they live ages away so it's not an every time thing. Most of the time it's just them, their poorly decorated tree, presents clad in sparkly wrapping paper, and way too much food. Millie is going to miss it this year, of course, but she is sort of excited to be all grown-up! She gets to spend Christmas with her cool grown-up friends, wear posh outfits, and dance around all adult-like! Another Halton Beach House Christmas can wait until next year! This year she's gonna be really cool!

Her and Hermione especially are going to look so fancy—because they are, obviously. But, Millie helped her friend figure out what to do with her hair, let's be honest, Hermione has never been incredible at doing her hair. Also, they went to Hogsmeade and found the perfect eyeshadows to go with their dresses! They're going to look so posh, it's so exciting! Like, if you think that having a bag, dress, pair of shoes, and makeup that all match is not posh... Who are you? Why would you think that?

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks though, tonight Millie's going to put on her floaty dress and she's gonna be really posh! But this morning she is not going to be posh at all. There are three things she wants to do, open presents, eat way too much chocolate, and watch Harry be all cute while he opens his presents in pyjamas. Imagine! Well, Millie doesn't have to imagine really because soon, hopefully, everyone else will be up and Christmas can start!

She's been up for ages painting pictures of the snow, trying not to count down the seconds until it's acceptable for her to wake everyone up. She's aiming for seven, but it could be earlier. That means, as of now, there are only eighteen thousand nine hundred and fifty-six seconds- no five- oh! Four- three! Oh my, Angelov, she's going to die! It's taking too long! She wants to watch everyone's 'surprised' faces when they open their gift from her to see paintings! They'll be so shocked! Millie shouldn't be as excited as she is to give them presents that they watched her make. The chocolate frog though, that'll be an actual surprise... Except for the fact that they can tell it's a chocolate frog box.
