IN CASE IT'S not already clear: not many students of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry are massive fans of Amelia Milev. Of course Millie has snapped at a few people in the last three years, but, she doesn't do it on purpose. She doesn't like doing it, she just does. And it's not like she's actually injured anyone... yet. Hitting a few vases or paintings with little balls of fire is, like, nothing. She's just re-decorating! Let's be honest the school isn't known for its well-furnished rooms. Supposedly the Hufflepuff common room is nice, but Millie wouldn't know, being a Gryffindor, unfortunately.

But, anyway, it's fair to say that Millie isn't particularly well-liked at school, but it's also fair to say that Millie doesn't particularly like anyone at school either, nor the school itself. So the whole back to school excitement that most students feel on the first day of September is completely lost on Millie. She actually experiences more dread than excitement. Usually, the night before she has to leave for school she cries, barely sleeps, and feels like she's going to be sick. Surprisingly, it's not her favorite feeling in the world. Last night was no exception to this.

While Claire slept peacefully on the blow-up bed, Millie lied in her bed sobbing. She managed to muffle her cries underneath her bed sheets so she wouldn't wake up her friend. Her Walkman was playing Madonna into her ears while she tried to stop the tears from rolling down her face. It's sad that Millie finds herself crying a lot, especially about school, something that should be giving her joy. But also, she's not even a Cancer... she's a Virgo... and they're not supposed to cry that much.

As much as Millie tried to stop crying she just couldn't, except she obviously did because it's now seven in the morning and the girl is fast asleep. When Emiliya comes in to wake the girls up the headphones of her daughter's Walkman are still covering her ears and she's curled up under the sheets.
