Alice fell asleep after she was brought to a recovery room
Fp held Niya in is arms as he sat in the arm chair next to his sleeping girlfriend
The child of two people who have been in love for 25 years
She had dirty blonde hair, like her mother. A little nose like her mother, ears like her father, lips like her father. She hadn't opened her eyes yet but Fp hoped she had a pair of striking blue eyes like Alice's, ones that could draw you into a trance
"Hey baby girl" he said quietly to the baby, making sure not to wake Alice "I'm so glad your here, your mommy is too... you have a little niece or nephew on the way, you two are gonna be the best of friends, you have 4 siblings also-" he started getting teary eyed "Oh Niya... I love you so much- I promise to protect you for as long as i live, I hope I will be a good father to you and a good partner to your mother-" he stopped talking before he would burst into tears
"Your a great partner Forsyth, and an even better father" Alice said in a groggy but sweet voice
He looked up at her with a few tears flowing down his face "Al" he said quietly "thankyou for bringing us our daughter, your the strongest person I know and I dont think you could possibly understand how much I love you"
"Oh Jonesy, thankyou for letting me bring our babygirl into this world, and for being my anchor the whole time, I love you more than all the starts combined"
He leaned down and pressed a soft but lingering kiss to her lips
Untill the baby started to stir in Fps arms
He handed her to Alice "I think she wants her mommy"
Alice smiled as he sat the baby in her arms "hey there honey, are you getting a little fussy?" She said in a soothing voice "are you gett-" before she could say more the baby tried to open her eyes "Fp shes opening her eyes" the new mother exclaimed
Fp put a hand on the babys belly as he sat by Alice "come'on Niya, open em up"
The newborn successfully opened her eyes all the way and boy was FP happy, her eyes were exactly like Alice's,, a bit of dark blue onthe out side and light blue in the middle, they shined like a disco ball, or like a million stars in the midnight sky,
"Blue like her mama" Fp broke the silence
Alice cried happy tears "she sure dose"
The happy moment was put to a pause when there was a knock at there door, it was Pop and Jughead
"Can we come in?"
Alice smiled brightly "of course"
Fp stood up from the bed and walked over by Pop
Jughead walked over to Alice's hospital bed
Alice shifted herself so Jug could see his sister "Jughead I would like you to meet your baby sister" Jughead leaned down and ran his thumb over her small cheek "Niya Susana Jones"
"Hey there girly, I'm your big brother" he said softly and sweet
Alice's heart melted and she began to tear up
"I love you kiddo, just remember if I tease you in the future its only because I love you" Jughead stated, when he meet eyes with Alice he knowticed the tears that had fallen and pulled her into a gentle hug, he knew she was emotional, and that he probably made her tear up from the words he had spoken to his new little sister
