Almost the whole Family was in the living room, Fp and Alice in their arm chairs, Jellybean, Betty and a very pregnant Polly on the sofa, and Jughead was sitting on the floor eating a burger, the only one who wasn't was the 2 year old upstairs who was napping when the door bell rang
"I'll get it" Fp said and stood up to awnser the door
When he opened the red door he wanted to vomit "My I ask you why you are here?"
Hal scoffed "May I remind you I have children with your wife"
Even though Alice and Hal divorced over 15 years ago, the family always seemed to but heads with this man, and Fp especially despised him because of what he did made Alice do
"Honey whos at the door?" Alice called but when she didnt get a response she stood up and walked to the door, she stopped in her tracks as she saw the biological father of her eldest daughters "Halord" she scowled
It had been 3 years since the family had last seen this man, he was suppost to see his children every other weekend since they had divorced, but he would only pop in every two years or so. What always pissed Alice off the most was that he would always promise the girls that he would see them soon . . . And when Polly and Betty would realize he wasnt coming back soon they were always heart broken, but she and Fp always wipe their kids tears away and did their best to mend their broken hearts untill Hal would break them again.
"Someone sounds happy to see me" Hal stated with a smug look on his face
Alice stepped closer, standing by her husband as Fp put a hand on her back to show her he was there for her "The last time we saw or even heard of you was at Elizabeth's 14th birthday" she said clearly annoyed
Hal put his hands up in confusion "Your point?"
Alice brought her pointer figure out ready to tell him down, that was untill Fp spoke up for her, as annoyed as she was but handling his emotions better than her "Betty is 17 years old man, You cant just come here and disrupt our lives when ever you want"
Hal glared at him "Okay you have no right too-"
Alice spoke in "Actually he dose he is their father-"
"Step father" Hal pointed out "Was he their when they were born? No that was me"
To say Alice was fucking angry would be an understatement "Yeah? And where were you for all their first's huh? Or even any of their lives? Oh right! You were sticking your tounge down your cousins wife's throat!" She whispered yelled not wanting the children to hear the commotion
"Alice you cant throw that in my face anytime you feel-" He was cut off again but this time it wasn't Alice
"Hal?" Betty said softly standing behind Fp and Alice
Hal softened up "Hello darling" he opened his arms for her
Betty ran into his arms with a huge smile spread on her face
Fp and Alice awkwardly stood there watching untill they parted
Hal cupped his youngest daughters cheeks "I missed you so much, You look so grown up!" He exclaimed happily
Betty backed up alittle to face his properly making Hals hands fall of her face "Yeah 3 years can do that to you" She states a little coldly, but playing it off as a joke
