Bright Future: An Overflash Story

Chapter 33

Barry and Kara (O) where now back in Earth 1 after the chaos in Earth 38. Team Flash was happy to have their friends and heroes back with them, as they appeared in the breach room Barry saw that Oliver wasn't there with his friends. Cisco told him and Kara (O) that he had to returned to Star City as something happened back there and the Green Arrow was needed. Barry only nodded with also Kara (O) hugging him with one of her arms on his waist. Now both heroes started explaining what they had to passed in Earth 38, how Supergirl was infected with Red Kryptonite as that was the reason on why she kidnapped Barry back when they had a movie night.

Cisco, Caitlin and Harry where surprised to hear that and Kara (O) started to tell them more about how it ended, both her and Barry where injured as the fight with Supergirl ended almost badly but at the end they gave her the cure thanks to Mon-El's good aim with the gun. This was something team Flash didn't expect and now felt relieved and happy to see their friends okay after such an experience with Supergirl being infected with something unknown to them, Overgirl also was surprised to fight someone under such of chemical or object that could turned a kryptonian into a rage mode or something horrible just like what she saw.

Caitlin was concerned when Barry and Kara (O) told her that they where injured for saving Supergirl, but they then calmed her down telling her that both where okay after that, even though they where lying and knew how difficult it was for them to survive a raging kryptonian under the Redk. Barry also skipped the detail of Kara (O) now being also a speedster as she was saved by him after the injuried she had for fighting Supergirl. That was for other moment as now the important thing was that they where okay and back hom.

Harry was happy to see both of them back home and even though Kid Flash had things under control in Central City, it was always good to see the Flash and Overgirl back in the city just like the people and they like to see. Cisco after hearing all the odyssey that Barry and Kara (O) lived was now so surprised and also geeking cause he didn't saw the fight between their friend Overgirl of team Flash with Supergirl of Earth 38, Caitlin then smacked his head making the rest of them laughed as Cisco just was like a little kid after thinking about that fight, even though Kara (O) told him that it wasn't as cool as it sounds.

After their little reunion in the breach room both Barry and Kara (O) went to their apartment to have time for themselves as they wanted to be together for the rest of the day, Harry told them that things where recently okay and no major problems where at Central City, Kid Flash also took the mantle of the only speedster after Barry went to Earth 38. So now both Barry and Kara had free time for themselves which they appeciate after the chaos the lived. They where now in their apartment in the couch snuggling watching some TV now with their comfy clothes as their suits where back in their rings.

Kara (O) was now snuggling into Barry with a smile on her face, she loved having time with her boyfriend at their apartment with no one who can bothered them, Barry also ha done of his arms around her putting Kara (O) closer to him while watching some series at their TV.

"Is good to be back home after all, even though Earth 38 isn't that bad, but I prefered here as this is my home now" Kara (O) said smiling looking at Barry who nodded to her also agreeing about been back home safe.

"I know my love, and I'm happy to have you back at my side. I was so scared of losing you back there and I know that making you a speedster is something you are liking. But I did cause I wwas going crazy without you Kara (O)" Barry said with some sadness and guilt just remembering seeing his girlfriend figthing her injuries broke his heart.

"Hey I'm okay and here, that's what matters babe and being a speedster, well I like it now cause we have another thing in common. Now I can be more close to you than before, which I like it" Kara (O) replied to him with a reasurring smile that made Barry feel a little better, she then gave him a small kiss which he returned as well.
