Bright Future: An Overflash Story

Chapter 24

After the dinner everyone started to leave the West house, first it was Caitlin and Cisco saying his farewells to Joe and Iris and thank them for this great night. Next Barry and Kara help Joe and Iris to clean up the table and their dishes to then be leaving the house also thanking them for tonight's dinner and fun time.

"Good bye Joe, we need to do this more often" Barry says holding hands with Kara.

"Yeah I know, don't worry there will be more of this in the future" Joe says and says his farewells to him and a hug to Kara who make her happy, they love her like her boyfriend said, so now she is more calm about this.

Again Barry picks her and runs fast to their apartment arriving in just seconds. He put Kara down and she giggles again, she loves being in his arms so she will never denied something from him.

Barry opens the door and they enter the apartment and leave their keys and his coat in the couch, they both go to their room and change into their comfy pyjamas, Barry don't sped into them cause he feels better to do this slowly. Kara also changes taking her time and goes to bed where Barry is now laying shirtless in bed. She then lays down and cuddles up to him like she loves too and Barry takes her waist holding her with his arms.

"What a good night you know" Barry murmurs to her smiling.

"I know, I'm happy Joe accept me and your our friends also love to be with me, that make me so happy" Kara replies looking at him while being all cuddle.

"I told you, they are the best, they will love you and that happened" he replies again smiling at Kara.

"I love you Kara"Barry murmurs softly with a heart melting smile that Kara couldn't resist andleans to kiss him passionately and Barry kissed her back in no time, for some seconds they kiss then Kara just leans back a bit and replies.

"I love you to Barry, so so much" she says and leans to kiss him again and next Kara moves on top of Barry and they then started making out for a while just like they love too, she moving her hands from his chest to his hair caresing both of them softly, as he was holding her waist tightly not letting her go.

Some minutes later of making out they separate and their breathing has heavy and both were smiling like idiots and leaning their foreheads. Next Barry yawn and this make Kara chuckle at this, so she moves from him and lays next to him.

"Good night Barry, love you" Kara says smiling to him.

"Night Kara, love you too" Barry murmurs already asleep holding his waist protectively.

They now fall asleep after a good day for both with family and friends but hoping to have more days like this. Not knowing what the future holds for them and is coming close to happen. They have a peacefull sleep cuddle up together, Barry was the first one to open his eyes but as he does he sees that this is not their room, he saw lightning, a big cloud and noices of lightning surrounding them, Barry is scared at this and he sees Kara also at his side but she doesn't seem to see him.

"Kara, is that you?" Barry asks worried as she inmediately turns to look at him and then starts to freak out by the surrounding.

"Barry, where are we? What is this place?" Kara asks fast no giving him chances to answer worried also.

He saw the surroundings again now he gets what is this place, but as Barry was about to answer another voice is heard in the distance.

"Hello Barry" a voice of a woman is heard from behind both of them.

They turn to their backs and Barry now knows where are they and who this woman is, but Kara is confused for this.

"Babe, who is she?" Kara ask curious but she sees as Barry is more calm and not scare for this situation.
