Bright Future: An Overflash Story

Chapter 34

It has been a week since team Flash knew about the events on Earth 38 with their friends Barry and Kara (O) having some trouble with their other friend and hero Supergirl, also in noting that now Kara was a speedster thanks to some method Barry did to her saving her life after she was injured severly in her fight with Supergirl. The team was now ready and interested in seeing how can Kara (O) could developed as a speedster, so the past week they started to do some test and practices on the speed lab with Barry and Harry being the one's on charge of the tests with Cisco and Caitlin monitoring things as well in case anything happened.

Barry was happy and motivated in teaching his girlfriend about being a speedster, in how to control her new powers, how to stop after running cause that is one hell of important thing to learn as well, and also some basics like being able to avoid any bullets or weapons shooting even though she being kryptonian as well knew how to do that as she was a powerful General in Earth X where military and nazi special forces trained her for years under the Reich. But being a speedster was now a different thing which made Kara (O) very excited cause she could be more time with her friends and also with Barry with she now was more connected even if they where in a relationship.

Right now Barry was with Harry looking outside the speed lab seeing the progress of Kara (O) who was running in the lab like her usual ruting for the week since she started the speedster training. Things where looking good for the momento which brought a smile to the scarlet speedster itself, team Flash and even Harry who was impressed by Overgirl's quickly adapting to the speedforce in her body.

"How's the progress Cisco? Anything new with Kara (O)?" Barry asked with a small smile while looking at the yellow streak running laps and laps on the speed lab while he was proud of her for wanting to train with him and also liking to be a speedster.

"She's is killing it man, she already got to mach 2 and right now it is the fastest she's ever ran. Good things are coming from her" Cisco replied behind the computer syster and analyzing the data from Kara with a smile too proud of the girl which also made him geek cause, now Kara was a kryptonian with the speedforce in her body, she was now a speedster too which for him was pretty awesome.

"Barry she is even faster than you when you started as the Flash, even Wally which is very impressing. Also her blood pressure and sugar levels are perfect, nothing seems bad, she is indeed adapting faster than we thought" Caitlin said now from her station watching in her own computer the telemetry of Kara's health as she was running which showed her that everything was going according to their plan. Barry nodded after hearing to his best friends and colleagues saying that Kara (O) was doing great and there was no problem with her after all which made him smile more while still looking at his girl running.

Seconds later they saw and heard a whoosh of yellow lightning infront of them, Kara (O) was now standing there panting a bit after all the running she did today and also had a big smile on her face cause the sensation of lightning being now on her body and blood felt amazing. She was also wearing some black sport top, some black leggins as well and her blonde hair in a ponytail. Cisco and Caitlin also returned their glances to the kryptonian with Harry also doing the same after some things he was working also helping his friends with the training session.

"Hey guys, how did it go? Any new things or positive progress?" Kara (O) asked with her smile still in her face while Barry gave her a small towel so she can cleaned up the sweat on her beautiful face, she took it and then blew him a kiss making the speedster chuckled at that.

"Girl you're faster than before, right now you are faster than when Barry started as the Flash years ago. You reached Mach 2 today, good job" Cisco stated ecstatic telling Kara (O) about the details he got with Caitlin and Harry about her progress this week and also today which where more than promising. All of this made the blonde kryptonian to smile widely loving the response from the engineer cause she was looking foward to used her new powers in the field and why not? In normal life too.
