The Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor Quidditch match is something both houses have been anticipating for a while. Cedric has been pushing us hard and I know for a fact Wood has been pushing the Gryffindor team just as hard, if not harder.
Two minutes into the game and I'm frozen to the bone, shivering, holding onto my broom for dear life, and thanking Merlin that I'm a Keeper so there's less of a chance that I'll fall off due to wind interference.
I'm not sure who is winning or even where they are really I just know I have accidently let two goals passed. I don't let goals passed. I had just thrown the quaffle back into play after a save when everything turns black and I hear screaming in my ears again.
When I wake up I'm sore everywhere.
"What did Harry do?" I ask my team in a groan as I open my eyes.
"Not Harry this time. Dementors again." Cedric says.
"The one creature that doesn't effect twin connections." Madame Pomphrey says, coming to my bed side with a huge chunk of chocolate.
"What were they doing at the match?" I ask, accepting the chocolate from the healer.
"High emotions and the dementor's food supply had dried out. They couldn't resist." Madame Pomphrey explains, handing me another piece.
"Who won the match?"
"It wasn't fair. I tired to get a rematch." Cedric says, shaking his head and looking over at Harry. "I hadn't realized Harry fell off his broom. I had already caught the snitch when I saw both you and Harry passed out on the ground."
"Fucking dementors." I grumble as I eat. "So we won, but we're having a rematch?"
"He said 'try', Mya." Brooks says.
"We won fair and square." Jacob says.
"Even Wood admits it." Fred pipes in from Harry's bedside.
"He's trying to drown himself in the showers right now." George adds. I rub my face as I finish chewing the last piece of chocolate.
"The circumstances though-"
"Madame Hooch won't hear it." Cedric interrupts. I huff and lie back on the bed. I look over at him pitifully. He runs his hand over the headboard. "You know, you should really carve your name on here. You're here enough."
"I really should." I say, bursting out laughing. Ron, Brooks, and Jacob look at Cedric and me curiously while I see Fred, George, Talia, and Hermione sharing knowing looks. "So, how's your raven?"
"You were right, she made me choose: raven or girl I've been trying to keep alive since my third year."
"You make me sound like a gold fish." I say with a laugh.
"We do wear gold after all. No, in all seriousness she made me choose and, well-"
"Nice to have you on the right side again, mate." Jacob says, patting his shoulder.
"This is getting really gloomy." Fred says.
"We were just attacked by dementors." I say as if he's crazy. A minute later Harry wakes up and we have to recap everything for him. The only difference is that my broom was saved by a Slytherin spectator who dropped it off before I woke up, Harry's broom tried to hug the Whomping Willow and was crushed to hundreds of pieces that Professor Flitwick brought up just after the Slytherin.
