I walk up to Harry and the Dursleys from where I was saying goodbye to the my group of friends.
"What's that, boy? It better not be another blood form for me to sign. If it is-"
"Actually it's from my godfather."
"What? You don't have a ruddy-"
"Yes I do. He was my mom and dad's best man. Although now he's an escaped convict." Harry says, conveniently forgetting to tell them that Sirius is innocent.
"You're horrible." I say in amusement. He just shrugs with a smirk on his lips. I look back at all our friends to see the Diggory's greeting Cedric. His eyes meet mine. I wink at him and turn back to my excuse for a family.
"We're going to starve to death." I say on the second day of Dudley's diet. I'm face down on Harry's bunk, head in the pillow.
"Not so, dear sister." Harry says, attaching letters to Hedwig. "Save us." He tells her and then she flies off.
"You asked people to send us food?"
"Do you want to starve to death?"
"No." I say quickly.
"I thought you were going camping with Luna."
"They left early, while we were in the infirmary, so I couldn't." I say and he nods.
Over the following weeks we live off the food our friends sent us, chores, and doing homework after dinners.
"I heard you writing last night." Uncle Vernon says one morning after a long night of homework.
"I was trying to get the right words out for my godfather." I say.
"You don't have a godfather." He says angerly.
"Yes, I do. He's a werewolf-" I start but he waves off the rest of my sentence. Too much magic in it. I share a smirk with Harry as I conveniently was unable to say that Remus is tame for a werewolf.
"Have you written Luna yet?" I ask Harry as we clean the kitchen.
"Yeah. She agreed to go to Hogsmeade with me." Harry says blushing.
"She's what you need. A little crazy in all the seriousness."
"And what about you?" He asks.
"Someone who keeps me from going overboard...after I poisoned the twins. Everyone else thought it was brilliant though. Even Teddy who had pulled back even before I started dating Cedric."
"His dad was one of Voldemort's supporters, wasn't he?" Harry asks.
"In the inner circle with the Malfoys." I confirm.
"He'll hand you over in a millisecond." Harry says.
"He doesn't have a body. Don't fear something that's not even there to fear." I tell him. He nods and gets back to work.
I wake up early the next morning to a stabbing pain in my forehead. I get off the top bunk to see Harry in a cold sweat, gripping his head. I shake him awake and await the pain to recede.
"Sorry. Bad dream."
"So I can tell." I say, sitting on the bed next to him. "Tell me about it."
"Mya-"
"Last time your scar hurt Voldemort was close by. He's after both of us. Tell me about it." I order. I then get told the weirdest dream although he and I both know it's true. "Write to Sirius."
