The rest of they year is actually more enjoyable once the all the pranks are out of the way. The week before finals Talia and I sneak into the Gryffindor boys' dorms and give the boys the antidote. Everyone needs to focus on finals-and more importantly, their OWLs-and not the walking epitome of House Unity.

Talia and I wait outside their bathroom door the next morning with our arms crossed. Fred has a robe on while George has a towel around his waist and his hair.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." They say, hugging us. We both actually laugh at their antics.

"Yeah, well, my boyfriend will be in the same room as you when you take your OWLs and you two are not what he needs to be focusing on." I say, smiling at them.

"I'd still be careful with potions though. You were under ours for roughly five months, so some of it will still be in your system for two weeks to a month even if you look back to normal." Talia says.

"Most potions-Pepper Up, Blood Replenishment, and the likes-are fine, but Skele-Gro? Not a chance." I say. They both nod enthusiastically.

"Go get dressed and ready for class." Talia says, pushing George's shoulder. Once they're further away she looks at me with slightly pink cheeks, wide eyes, and a goofy smile. "I didn't think Fred looked like that under his robes."

"That was George, Tally."

"How the bloody hell can you tell them apart?" She demands.

"You have to take the time and effort to find the small things." I say with a shrug, threading my arm through hers and beginning the walk out of Gryffindor territory.

"Okay, but does Cedric look that good under his robes?" Talia asks. I stop us and smirk at her.

"Better." I say and then open the portrait hole.

Everyone was a little crestfallen when they found out our revenge against the twins was officially played out and now we all have to resign ourselves to being in a musical, but I have other things to worry about. I help quiz Cedric for the OWLs which actually helps me get ready for my finals as well as teach me a bit about what I'll have to deal with fourth and fifth year.

"Mya, can you stay behind please?" Remus calls after one of the last classes before finals. I pack up but stay seated. "I'm proud of you."

"For what?" I ask, completely lost.

"You removed the spell on the twins."

"It was for half-unselfish reasons. Cedric will need to be able to focus on his OWLs and he doesn't need the walking flags of House Unity distracting him."

"You're a good person."

"I know. I'm just very vindictive." I say with a nod of my head.

"Voldemort is in for a surprise with you." He says and I laugh humorlessly.

"I love my brother, but he gets angry and waits for the attack. I attack first. Given I have to wait for Voldie's attack, but I don't against his followers. First things first, I have to wait for dude to come back...can I be, like, dead at that point?" I ask and he chuckles. "I know, quirky and vindictive, not a good combination."

"Not for those around you, no. For your friends it means automatic safety."

"Before being targeted for being my friends." I say and he nods his head. "Voldemort's going to try to kill Harry and me no matter what we do. If I were to die at...sixteen I would like to have lived just a tad before hand; I don't want to die with regrets."
