8 - Back home

*Harry's POV*

The lads and I were in our apartment, doing nothing actually. Niall said he was going get some food from McDonalds I think, Zayn went to take a shower and Liam, Louis and I were sitting on the couch.

"Cmon Harry, pick a movie."

"Harry? Are you there?"

"Harry!"

I came back to earth from my thoughts, turning around to Louis who has been speaking to me. I really didn't notice, I was deep in my thoughts, My thoughts about Y/N.

Y/N is my girlfriend of half a year. We hang out together the last time a whole week, but that was 2 months ago. I missed her so much.

"Yeah Lou? Sorry I was thinking and I didn't notice you were talking to me." I said to Louis. "I know mate, that's ok. So are you going to pick a movie?"
"Yeah yeah sure, lemme just check my phone a minute."

I took my phone, opened my safari app and all of the sudden I hear a "ding" sound. That means someone sent me a message. I go instead to my messengers app and find Y/N's text:

To: Me
Hey baby, how are you? I miss you. Just wanted to let you know I'm going to be in town for the next month, I'm landing today at 8pm. Are you available to meet?
———

When I saw the message I jumped all over the living room, smiling. "What happened Haz? Why are you so happy all of the sudden?" Liam asked me, a little smile on his face.

"Y/N's going to be here for a month! She's landing today at 8pm!" I felt my smile starting to hurt my cheek. "That's great mate!", Louis said "you should go and wait for her in the airport as a surprise"

"Right, it's 5:34.. I hope I'll get to there before she lands. See you later lads!" I started to ran to my room and changed my clothes. I took some money, my phone and whatever I need and rushed to the door and then my car.

*At the airport*

It's 8:12 so Y/N needs to be here every minute now. I got up from my seat and went to wait for her. Within a minute I saw her with her suitcases, walking. She seemed tired, but when she spotted my face, she ran to me, left her suitcases and jumped over me. I held her and hugged her. She kissed me and I kissed her back, not wanting to ever separate from her. After a few seconds I put her back to the ground and she hugged me again.

"What are you doing here?" She laughed and I could feel her smile. "What do you think I'm doing here? The second I saw your message I took my car and drove over here." She chucked and put her face in my neck.

"Why didn't you ask me to pick you up?" I asked her, still hugging her. "I knew it was your free week from work and I didn't want to bother you. I was going to surprise you but then I thought you would want to know I'm coming..?" I chuckled. "Baby, I missed you so much, one way or another I would be happy. To be honest, I'm happier you told me so I get to spend a bit more of time with you".

We pulled away and I kissed her again. After that, I asked her if she was hungry and she told me she is and we went to a Starbucks in the airport. I grabbed her suitcases and we ordered some food; some bagels and some drink. After that we went to my car and all the way to my apartment we talked and sang songs. I missed her so much, I can't wait to cuddle her every night and kiss her whenever I want.
