Kaori Kanzak scrolled through a vast set of scrolls as she sat in the library of Necessarius. Helping her, holding a vast amount of scrolls herself was Orsola Aquinas.
"Now.. I've been searching some of the old texts, and I was pretty surprised." said Orsola. "It's incredible.. I actually found several mentions of the word Omnitrix, or Omnimatrix... in these texts!"
"So my suspicions were correct, the history of the Omnitrix in all of this has been key...But.. why would the Omnitrix be mentioned in magic texts?" asked Orsola. "Isn't it a spawn of the Science Side?"
"Yes it's strange indeed.." said Kanzaki. "We must look a little deeper at least."
Suddenly, Stiyl Magnus burst into the library, looking pale. "There's an intruder in the record hall! Quick!!"
Kanzaki clutched the hilt of her sword as she followed Stiyl through several doors and stopped to find a dark strange figure standing next to shelf, scrolling through books with his finger. He had on an armored outfit with a long purple cape. On his head he wore a helmet with a foggy visor that obscured his face, making it look ghostly white like a skull.
Kanzaki glared at the man. "Who are you!? What are you doing in here!?"
The man turned to look at Kanzaki. He raised his hands at her.. and they began to burn with powerful purple energy.
"GET DOWN!!" Kanzaki tackled Stiyl out of the way as a purple energy blast sailed past and exploded into a nearby shelf.

In an instant, the shelf was aged and reduced to dust...
Time!? Was this guy using some sort of temporal magic!?
Stiyl got to his feet quickly swiping his hands in a cross movement. "Ashes to Ashes! Dust to Dust!! FIENDISH BLOOD ROOD!!"
Several blades of fire exploded at the masked man, who used a time blast to rip apart the flames.
"Fool! You think that it is magic you deal with?" said the man in a distorted electronic voice. "Magic is but another that is crushed to dust in the grind of time!!"
"Who are you!!?" Kanzaki growled, preparing to draw her sword.
"All you need to know.. is this... I am Eon.. and GREMLIN is rising, and soon all shall fall before the the power of the Magic God!!" the man exclaimed before grabbing a scroll, and disappearing in a flash of purple light..
"Eon.." Kanzaki said. "Who is.. Eon?"
"Did you say... Eon?" said a voice..
Laura Stuart stood at the entrance to the library, looking uncharacteristically bewildered.
"M'Lady.." said Stiyl. "You know who this Eon is? Just what kind of magician is he?"
"An alien.. not a magician.." said Laura with a fearful voice. "Of an extraordinarily powerful race.. that went extinct long ago.."
"Well apparently they're not extinct." Kanzaki said.
"He took something.. " said Stiyl, looking at the shelf.. but many of these texts are highly outdated! What could he have wanted here?"
"It doesn't matter right now.." said Laura.
"But.." said Kanzaki.
"No.." Laura shook her head. "Listen.. Eon is solely my problem and mine alone.. right now.. there's a far more pressing issue.."
"That is?" said Kanzaki.
"Acqua.. he announced it today.." said Laura. "He's coming to Academy City... He's going to destroy Ben Tennyson.."
Kanzaki and Stiyl stared at Laura.
"Ben... is my friend.." Stiyl growled. "Y-you.. can't be serious!! I've got to-"
"Not you!" said Laura. "Kanzaki will be taking this one.. you and the Amakusa will be providing protection for Tennyson until it blows over.. or Acqua is defeated.."
"Me?" said Kanzaki.
"A Saint Magician against another Saint Magician." said Laura. "You are the only one powerful enough to match Acqua.. "
Kanzaki nodded. "I'll be off right away... and.. by the way.. what of Kamijou?"
"He'll be trying to eliminate him as well.. but currently, Tennyson remains the main target..
Kanzaki nodded. "Very well.. I guess it's off to Academy City then.."
