"Hmmm hmmm hmmm.." Mikoto hummed cheerfully as she cracked a few eggs into a pot.
She had vastly increased her cooking skills ever since Ben taught her. It was tough at first to learn, as Mikoto was somebody who was incredibly terrible at housework. But eventually, Ben taught her the trick to cooking was to think of it a bit like the video game Mine Craft.
You could create anything you wanted as long as you had the right materials and imagination, and the main point was to have fun doing it..
After that, Mikoto began to find that cooking wasn't just something she could do.. but something she very much loved to do..
What with the crowded living quarters nowadays, it was easier, now that she had extra hands around the kitchen to give her a hand.
Frenda would handle chopping up cutlery, Rex would strain himself looking over a cookbook so he could measure out ingrediants.
Vento was the only one who never helped, since she spent all her time on the living room floor, looking over and studying magic texts. Then she would spend another hour reading her Bible, being very devout to her faith.
Mikoto had to admit though.. it was amazing how much Frenda and Vento had changed over the time they had come to know Ben and herself.
Frenda used to idolize Mugino, always sticking to her defense, and not above being spiteful towards Mikoto because of the time she beat the both of them..
Now.. Frenda seemed to have resolved never to speak Mugino's name again. She was considerably friendly to Mikoto.. and Ben and Rex were now apparently her new idols.
Vento was no longer as much of an insulting bloodthirsty mage as she used to be. In fact, she seemed much more tolerable of science. Or at least she tolerated the Omnitrix... she still seemed to scowl at anything high tech.. but Ben was rubbing off on her... like everybody else Ben ever met..
Two Plumbers were currently standing guard at the front entrance of the building.
There were also many Amakusa hanging around the city, looking and listening for any word of Acqua.
"What are you going to do about her..?" Mikoto asked Ben, while he was plopped at the dining table, fiddling with the Omnitrix.
"Who?"
"You know... your.. extended family?" Mikoto said, not wanting to quite let everybody else who was present know what they were talking about.
"Oh..." said Ben. "She seems fine really, though.. I'm going to try and get grandpa's advice on that later.. I hope.."
Mikoto pouted. "Would you stop fiddling with that thing? The last time you fiddled too much with it you accidentally turned into Heatblast and burned up our old fridge!"
"Well, it's not like I'm going to figure out how to work this thing by doing nothing!" said Ben. "Hold on... I think I found something!!!"
"FOOOOOOOMMMM!!!" A burst of light exploded out from the Omnitrix, and hit Mikoto..
"OW!!" Mikoto exclaimed as a pink Omnitrix badge appeared on her chest. "What the? What is this? A new Plumber's badge?"
"S-Sorry Mikoto!" Ben stammered, slamming down the faceplate of the Omnitrix by mistake. However, instead of Ben transforming.. Mikoto suddenly transformed in a burst of light..
Before everyone knew it.. a female Mikoto/Humungousaur was crouched in the room, her head hitting the ceiling as her entire body took up the space of the room.
