Chapter Twenty-Two: Back in Blood

A.N: Yes, that is actually Morgan Freeman talking in the video. Also a forewarning, some things are implied and things get intense in this chapter.

You dash out the doors of the apartment building and head towards the commotion at the gate. You see Javier with a couple of gate guards talking to someone at the entrance.

"That was a warning Javier. Give me what I came here for." said an unknown man.

"That's an act of war against us."

"I know you don't want that. Every one of your allies have been taken out already."

You make your way over the gate and crouch behind a destroyed car.

The unknown man continues, "Why don't you be a good dog and tell me where the boy is."

"I'm not sure who you're talking about. We have a lot of people come in."

"Ah, but I'm asking about specific boy. Tattoo behind his ear? I'm sure that would stick out in your memory."

"He probably left."

You take a look at the scene in front of you. Aasim is kneeling in front of the unknown man, hands and feet are bound in rope. He looks broken, his face is now three different colors. The man talking to Javier must be The Boss. A silicone mask drapes his head and he wears a bullet proof vest, cargo pants, and worn combat boots. Another person wearing a hockey mask stands next to The Boss holding an AK-47.

'They sure brought the cavalry.' you say to yourself noticing the box trucks and multiple armed men standing behind The Boss on the road.

"The Indian refused to talk; you see how that turned out. Thankfully, his friend decided to speak up."

He motions to one of the men behind him and Gabe is brought before Javier. Hockey mask kicks his knee forward and Gabe kneels on the ground next to Aasim.

'This isn't good.'

You take a deep breath and take out the pill bottle. You have about ten left. You take three of the pills and crush them. You look at the powder in your hand and ponder at the decision you are about to make. Three pills would do the job just fine, but you need more.

You take the powder and hold one nostril shut and inhale the substance into your nose. You recoil back holding your nose. Your nostril is on fire. The rush hits you much faster and is more intense than usual.

"You know this kid Javier?"

"You harm him, I swear- "

"It doesn't have to come to that, I just want the truth."

He crouches next to Gabe and grabs a handful of his hair, "Tell me what you told me."

"Y/N........ is here. Staying with a couple others."

'That kid just gave us away. Me away.'

The Boss snaps his fingers and one of his men brings over a can of gasoline.
