This is just what I imagine what Gluttony transformed into. Credit to the artist I'm not that good.
All of you watch as Gluttony towers over your group. He's no longer a man, but a monster you would read in a book. Fur now covering his whole body and a spiked tail protruding from his back. Feet now hoofs of a goat. Eyes bloodshot and rage filled.
"You're either have the balls of a thousand men, or scared shitless to move."
He's right about one thing, you're scared shitless to move.
He chuckles, then swings his tail impaling all the Green Squad members. He brings his tail to his mouth and takes a bite out of the three men.
Blood seeps from his mouth splashing onto you, "I thought this was going to be fun, but I guess not."
He swipes his hand and you barely dodge the strike, losing your kukri. You can't say the same about Emory. You look at her as she holds her arm. What's left of it anyway. You go to grab her as Gluttony goes for the finishing blow.
You save her life as Gluttony's tail strikes the ground where she stood.
"Alec, get her out of here!" you say taking Emory's sword.
Alec grabs Emory and runs to the exit.
"Not just yet! We just got started!"
You slash at Gluttony's tail before it reaches Alec and Emory. It slices clean off.
"You bastard!" he yells at you charging your position.
You sprint towards the kitchen with Gluttony hot on your trail. You see the figure pointing at the industrial stoves lining the walls. You quickly start turning the stoves on letting the propane seep out. Gluttony slowly walks towards you, clawing the wall.
"You cut off my tail, you little shit. How am I to respond to this."
His claws start to make sparks against the wall.
"Try not to get too fiery." You say striking the stove.
The impact of sparks sets the stove on fire causing an explosion igniting Gluttony. He runs out of the kitchen on fire. The fire hits you burning your arms slightly. Gluttony roars in pain and falls to the ground.
"You......you fuck....... "
"I tried warning you." You say slowly approaching Gluttony.
Gluttony swings his claw at you, and you cut it clean off. He grunts in pain.
"You got lucky, Kai." he says chuckling, "You won't make it with the others."
"Funny, that sounds oddly familiar." you say plunging the sword into his head.
You go to his side and slice off his head, "Just in case."
You take his mangled head and exit the cafeteria. The P.A. system boots on thanking you for visiting G.R.A.D.E, Genetic Research and Defense Engineering. You climb up the ladder and emerge from the research center.
"Jesus Kai, I thought you were Gluttony." Alec says putting down his weapon.
You raise Gluttony's head to Alec, "I wouldn't be worrying about him. How is Emory?"
"I stopped the bleeding so far, but it's not looking to good."
Her forearm is completely gone, her stump is covered in bandages and a belt is secured on the upper part of her bicep.
"I don't hear fighting." you say.
You turn on your heel and head to the door. The door busts open and the King emerges inside with a few Vanguard members. They see Emory and take her away to the medical tent.
"Kai, what of Gluttony?" she asks.
"Right here, King Seraphina." you say raising the head.
"My god, this is Gluttony?"
"We can't explain it, King Seraphina." says Alec.
"What is down there?" she asks approaching the secret entrance.
"A research center, GRADE to be exact."
The king looks at you, "You don't seem the least bit concerned Kai. You hold the head of what looks like a beast."
"I don't know what is real anymore, King Seraphina." you say leaning against the wall and sitting down, "It doesn't make sense."
King Seraphina nods, "Alec, take Kai and go to the FOB."
"Yes, King Seraphina."
Alec reaches a hand towards you and you take it.
"Emory will be fine Kai. She'll be back with us."
You still are trying to wrap your head around Gluttony and his transformation. What the hell even was that, are all the leaders of New Salem going to be like him?
