Chapter Thirty-Four: Two Wrongs......

Kyan's POV:

You walk behind Violet into the house she shares with Josephine, Clementine, and AJ. In the distance you can hear crying.

"Is it what I think it is?" you ask.

Violet turns her head and nods, "The test came back positive."

"Jesus."

"Yeah, only if Y/N was still here....."

You don't respond, it still hurts to think about losing Y/N. He was like a brother to you, maybe if you stayed with him or took his place he'd still be here. You'll live with that regret the rest of your life.

You reach Clementine's door seeing AJ standing there.

"Clem, please talk to me."

"AJ, please give me a moment alone. Ok?" Clementine says in between sobs.

"We don't leave each other, ever."

"Just...... not right now goofball."

AJ turns the two of you, "I don't know what's making her sad. Is it about Y/N?"

"Maybe, we're all a little sad about it."

"Why don't you go see Louis for a little." you say.

"But I don't want to."

"Let us talk to her, just for a little." says Violet.

"I want to help her."

"I know you do, but this might be more than you can do to help." you say.

"I'll give you ten minutes, then I'm coming straight back." he says staring at you.

"Ok kiddo, ten minutes."

He nods and walks away, his head hanging low.

You walk up to the door, "Clementine, I'm with Violet. We brought a friend that might know what you're going through."

"Kyan I can't handle bullshit right now."

"I know, just give her a chance."

"Like I was supposed to give Josephine a chance? Look how that turned out."

She sounds pissed.

"I understand you're angry, and a little bit scared. We just want to help you."

You hear her sigh and the springs on the bed creak, "Fine."

The sound of the door being unlocked is heard. You nod to Dina who is holding JJ's hand.

"Good luck." Says Violet leaving.

You hope this'll help her cope with her situation. Dina knew Y/N and was in a similar position as Clementine. Two fathers killed before their child was even born.

"Clementine?" Dina says opening the door, "My name is Dina, you probably don't know me, but I know how you are feeling."

JJ waddles in first taking in the surroundings. He stops to look at Clementine and waives. Clementine looks scared, her eyes swollen from crying, looking at JJ. She grabs at her stomach with one hand.

"This here is my little potato, JJ." Dina says with a smile.

"What..... does it stand for?" Clementine asks rubbing her eyes.

"Jesse Joel."

Clementine nods collecting herself, "Y/N mentioned both of them to me. Said Jesse's kid is being taken care of by a fantastic woman. Joel was a father figure to Y/N."
