Chapter 49

(Kristen's POV)

I watch everyone walk out and I look at who is left. Me, Avery, Colette, Kayli, Daxton, Kamri, and Noah.

"Has Brock gotten better at Skiing?"

"Much better. A few weeks ago he went down the big hill with Shay."

"That's awesome, I remember how scared he was at first." She nods and washes plates.

"Need any help?" She shakes her head.

"I'm good, thanks though." I smile and look down at my phone.

"Did I tell you my dad was filming Christmas?" Colette shakes her head.

"Is he really? That's awesome!" Avery says. I nod,

"I know, he took one of my older cameras and said he was going to film." I look over at Kayli and she smiles at me.

"Are you playing with Kamri?" Kayli nods and laughs.

"She insisted that I play with her." I laugh and look down at my phone. It starts ringing and the caller ID is Melissa. I smile and answer,

"Hey you!" I smile and stand up from the counter.

"Hey! How are you guys?"

"Good, Gavin, Shay, Carlie, Caleb, Avia, Emmi, and Brock all just left to go skiing."

"You didn't go?"

"No, I didn't want to do anything to mess with the baby."

"But you're going to the gym later aren't you?"

"I think we are. I don't know though."

"Call your father before you leave."

"I will, is he vlogging?"

"Yea, he said he'll do more vlogging tomorrow."

"Cool, tell him I love him!"

"I will, bye."

"Bye. I love you!"

"Love you too Kristen."

She hangs up and I put my phone in my pocket. I walk back over and sit down.

"Are we going to the gym?" Colette nods.

"Once they all get back." I nod and smile.

"Avery you are going to have so much fun!" She laughs and I look at Colette.

"Gavin is going to throw me into the pit isn't he?" I ask and look at her. She shrugs and laughs.

"Probably." I roll my eyes and laugh. I lay my head in my hands and sigh.

"Is it the gym we went to last year?" She nods and I laugh.

"I love that gym, it was a lot of fun!" Kayli yells and stands up. She sits on the other side of me and smiles.

"Casey is going to bring the kids over after they all get back."

"I haven't seen Brailee or Gage in forever!"

"And Winston."

"No, I saw him last month, that's when I almost died from falling out of a tree." I laugh and Avery looks over at me.

"What?"

"Last month we were playing hide-n-seek and I climbed up into a tree and all of the branches were breaking."
