Double date

Chapter 16

(Kristen's POV)

I pick up Noah and bring him downstairs with us. I grab my small leather purse and Avery grabs a clutch.

"Thank you mom." She hugs me again.

"You're welcome. Be back before midnight ok?" I nod and grab Avery's car keys.

"Avery let's go." She nods and we go to her car.

"Wanna drive?"

"Sure." She takes the keys from me and we get in the car.

"Let's pick up Gavin first cause Hunter is on our way to the restaurant." I nod and text Gavin we're coming.

When we arrive at his apartment she finds a parking spot and I get out.

"I'll go get him." She nods and I go to his apartment door.

I knock and he opens it. He's wearing a nice blue plaid shirt and dark jeans. For shoes he has on his tan sperrys.

"You look beautiful." He says, kissing me.

"You look pretty good yourself." He grabs my hand and we leave his apartment.

"Have you ever met Hunter?" He asks me.

"No I haven't, this will be my first time." He nods and we get in the car. I sit in the back with Gavin so Hunter can sit in the front with Avery.

We head to Hunters apartment.

When we arrive Avery texts him and he comes out. I see Gavin's eyes go wide when he kisses Avery.

"Babe, what's wrong?" He looks over at me and sighs.

"That's Hunter Reid, before I was homeschooled he went to my school. He would always one up everyone and pick on me for being "Sontard" and the son of a famous YouTuber."

"I'm sure he won't remember you." He smiles and I kiss him.

"Oh, he will." On cue, Hunter turns around and smiles.

"Gavin Butler, or should I say Sontard, it's been a while hasn't it?" Gavin looks at me and sighs.

I bite my tongue, trying to hold back any comments.

"Not going to speak Sontard?" Gavin's face goes red and I can't hold back anymore.

"Why don't you stop?! It's not his fault his parents called him Sontard! They just wanted their kids to be safe on the internet! If I was mean I could say one thing on twitter and you would regret picking on him for years and years! Do you know how many people would back him up!?"

Hunter turns around and Gavin gives me a kiss. Avery rolls her eyes and drives to the restaurant.

I lean up and whisper in Avery's ear,

"I saw you roll your eyes, when we get to the restaurant we need to talk, ok?" She nods her head and I lean back in the seat.

We get to the restaurant and we all get out of the car.

I grab Avery's arm and she nods,

"Hunter, can you get us a table? I need ask Kristen something." He nods and goes inside. Gavin kisses my cheek and follows him in.

We walk to the car and she crosses her arms.

"Why do you want to talk to me?"

"I don't like your boyfriend. He's rude to Gavin and he always has been."

"I don't care what you think. I love Hunter and nobody can change that." She spits back at me.

"He used to pick on Gavin and he's probably going to pick on me and you... I-I don't want something bad to happen to you... I-I don't want you to end up like me..."
