[Y|N]

After my dramatic exit, I couldn't find Hiccup outside. He was shaken to the core. From what he told few days back, he met a Night Fury and that's when his perspective on dragons slowly shift. He quote on quote said : "I looked at him and I saw myself. "

But after his encounter today with the Gronckle, he must be confuse. I frown at the thought.

He might hate dragons, after this.

"I hope not." My frown deepened, as I stared from the distance.

I start my search for the under appreciated teen. Hours and minutes passed so fast, that I haven't notice it was already getting dark. I found Hiccup eventually with a new resolve in his eyes. The good one. That, put me in ease.

The next day, rain started to pour. I searched for Hiccup. An hour pass when I finally met up with the said teen, just exiting the forest.

My face lit up at his appearance. "Hiccup!"

His head snap to me, tearing him away from his thoughts. I waved my hands as I run towards him and stop just a few feet away from him.

"[Y|N], what are doing? You're going to get sick!" Hiccup immediately scolded me although a small smile crept on his lips.

"Finding you." I blatantly admitted. "And were both under the rain, Hiccup. Both of us will get sick, not just me."

Hiccup shook his head, now fully smiling. His eyes lighting up. Those damn beautiful green eyes. I was so immersed that I haven't realize Hiccup held my wrist and lead me towards the Great hall.

I've only came to my senses when I heard the gigantic doors gave a loud and cringey creak. Hiccup flinched at the noise. We entered the room.

"-She's right, you have to be tough on yourself." Gobber.

Their eyes were on us. Hiccup then started to walk and get his meal. I followed his actions.

"Where did Hiccup go wrong?" Gobber asked, me and Hiccup walking closer at the other teens' table.

"He showed up." Ruffnut answered. Hiccup tried to sit at the space beside her but she occupied it with her legs.

"He didn't get eaten." Tuffnut scoff. Hiccup tried to sit in between Fishlegs and Tuffnut but yet again failed. Snotlout stretches his legs before Hiccup could attempt to think to sit beside the snotty viking.

These. little. shits.

"He's never where he should be." Astrid coldly says.

My gaze quickly glanced towards Hiccup and my heart shattered at the sight. He rolled his eyes but I can really see trying to hide the pain that the other teens pierced him.

I knew he harbored feelings for the girl. I am not an expert on this field, but I'm sure it hurts. And I'm not sure, but I could feel a small pang of pain about knowing of this.

"[Y|N]." Hiccup called out to me with a hush tone and walk towards the table where no one is occupying.

"But..!" I tried to protest but Hiccup's eyes told me everything and I complied. "...Fine."

The teens filed out of the Great Hall, having to agree on not reading the book. Leaving Hiccup and [Y|N] with the Book of Dragons.

"[Y|N]..." Hiccup gently shook [Y|N]'s sleeping state that she had succumb into when she finished her meal. "Wake up..."

Groggily, the secret dragon rider's head rose from slumber. Everything hazy and confusing . "W-what..? What's...what's happening?"

The son of the chief chuckled at her disarray.
